Warner has scored 228 runs so far, while Axar has 129 to his name. Apart from these two, none of the other batsmen are in to three digits. At third position they have Manish Pandey at 76, and then others haven't even made 50. Apart from Warner and Axar Patel, none of Delhi's batsmen performed well. Although Warner could play big innings, his strike rate was very low. On the other hand, despite having talented batsmen like Prithvi Shaw and Marsh in the squad, Delhi's batting line-up is very weak. Delhi management has built their team by spending a lot of money. I am feeling that PBKS might again miss it after going so close to the win. If you see history of Punjab, this has been a routine for them. They lose winning matches and therefore eventually end up in middle of the table with just 1-2 wins away from the playoffs. This is the reason they also don't have a very good NRR. I don't if it's the franchise curse, bad team management or just coincidence.

Warner has once again started slowly. Delhi Capitals are in trouble. They are 1/1 after 1 over, chasing a target of 175. Prithvi Shaw got out cheaply once more, this time to a direct hit from Anuj Rawat. The two opening bowlers for Royal Challengers Bangalore (Mohammed Siraj and Wayne Parnell) are right on the spot and they are not giving any breathing space for DC. Mitchell Marsh has come to the crease, to join David Warner. He maybe having the task with him to go after big hits, as Warner is likely to dig in and play cautiously.

I don't know for sure but had DC been a better team, Warner would automatically play aggressive than his current defensive play. Having players behind you to take care of innings makes you fearless.
I want to see how much Delhi team scores if Warner is out early. Axar Patel's last quick fifty was nice but to me it appeared luck rather than skill.

I would be really surprised if they make a total of more than 150 after Warner getting out cheaply. Apart from Warner, none of the other batsmen have been scoring runs for the Delhi Capitals. Prithvi Shaw have been a huge disappointment so far, and Manish Pandey hasn't done any good either. Yash Dhull and Aman Khan are too inexperienced to make any significant contributions. Axar Patel had one half century to his name and it was mostly due to luck. And despite all this, it is David Warner who has been getting the brickbats.
I wouldn't be surprised if Delhi wins against Bengaluru today. I would even say that Delhi has a chance to win today. Bengaluru set a target of 175 runs today. I wouldn't call it a very big target. I say that Delhi has a chance to win because Bengaluru's bowling line-up is not very strong. They are not doing well this season. However, Delhi has a lot of talented batsmen in its squad. But they did not play well in the previous matches. Hope they play well today. Delhi needs to score around 9 runs per over to win.

Slow batting is very risky here. However, Kolkata will not suffer if Liton Das is added to their squad. In the last few T20 matches we have seen great batting from Lytton. He scored big and batted at a strike rate of over 150. Kolkata could have offered Liton as a replacement for Rahmanullah Gurbaz. I think Liton Das is a better option for Kolkata than Rahmanullah Gurbaz. Even in the last match, Rahmanullah Gurbaz did not play well. He returned to the dressing room without collecting any runs in 3 balls.
