Just curious how do you guys usually choose an ICO/how do you decide if it will succeed in the future?
Strong stream, good idea, a clear roadmap. Usual things.
What about whitepaper? Is it that important as people say? How should I decide if it's well-made?
The idea must be realistic. And u must be sure they will be able to implement this idea in reality.
What about websites you usually use for researches? I'm kinda new to crypto and don't everything that could be used for that purpose unfortunatelly >_>

Over time and technological advances in the digital era, many people have been very interested in investing some of their money in the world of cryptocurrency such as Ethereum / (Altcoins). What are your plans for next year, and will you participate in the ICO?
Thank you.

ICO's are a good way to spot a good project and make most out of it by investing early but we have to see how the market sentiments is in the year 2019 if new money flows in then I will definitely opt for ico's. Even the Sto's will have to keep an close eyes on them too when they happen.

it looks like ico in 2019 will be tighter and better quality with the enactment of clear rules and regulations, but we (investors) must remain vigilant about fake ico that does not have an office address

and will you participate in the ICO?
People will return to ICO if the market has started to improve, I am sure of that.
For time like this, with weak market. Most cryptocurrency users, prefer to trading compared to investing in ICO.
at the end of the day, many ico did not reach sales because crypto experienced a mark down as a result, they were afraid that if they suffered losses, I agree with you if the market improves, more invoestors will invest in ICO

ICO's only work when people make a lot of profit from crypto. When people get into crypto with a thousand dollars and turn that into tens of thousands of dollars in it was only logical to spend that money into ICO's because that was the only place left that wasn't skyrocketing, they believed they could get a coin for cheap at the earliest stage possible and wait for it to rise to skies one day, they felt they already made the most profit they could from other already established coins and turned their investments into ICO.

It means if the ICO's want to succeed in 2019 the other crypto currencies we have need to have a really big rally, the price has been really low for a whole year so it would require for a HUGE rally upwards to actually make a difference and make investors search for ICO's again.

This year 2018 had brought dramatic changes to ICO funding. A lot of investors moved away from ICOs due to two factors: (1) downtrend market that directly affected ICOs and (2) scammers and weak projects. With these events, ICOs investments need deep analysis before investing. Hoping that wide range regulations will be setup to cut the list of ICOs leaving thw significant ones.

If the price for ETH on the market grows, there are fewer scammers, then, of course, investment in projects will increase. And so I think that a really good project will find its investor even in a bad market.

I don't think ICOs are going to work in 2019. Unless, they are backed by other genuine projects, crypto leaders. Also, people will be more cautious in investing in projects which don't have any utility and just for speculation. Those kinds of projects have hurt the most to the crypto world.

No, I don't want to invest in any ICO in the future, such too many scam project in this year, if it have not any improvement in next year, I will not invest it anymore.
Yes many people already not believe in ICO, The world of ICO currently is unlike a previous ICO which always give advantages to investors and bounty hunter. Now many of ICO is just a scam, and I think in the year 2019 later also will be same as it now.

If there are good projects I think a lot will still join and participate to the ICO, coins are much cheaper this time and that there are good reason to join not just because of the profit but because there are people really believe on what the team can do. Take for instance EOS project that even when there was an issue recently there were still good volume to it.

Many ICO paused their ICO this 2018 and waiting for the new year to come.
They are thinking that 2019 will be a better crypto community.
But i am hoping that the regulation through doing ICO will be better to evade the scam project.

I always use bearish to buy lots of crypto assets, this is a golden opportunity for me to invest in the world of crypto, in the ICO, and in some altcoins that have been listed in exchange.

I predict that 2019 will be the year of recovery for the crypto world, so, I will do more investment in some ICO.

as long as the ico market does not change fundamentally, i will not invest in any ico in 2019. but i think the ico market will change a lot in 2019. either through regulations or through a new form of an ico. should that really happen, ico would be interesting for me again.

I intend participating in more of STO than ICOs. What would make me change my mind, is if ICOs are regulated and are being backed up by the regulatory body.

Can you tell me what does STO mean?
And why is it better than ICOs?
I've made so many $$$ in ICOs early this year, and lost a few of my investments later on the 4th quarter. So I guess, on the coming years, it's not gonna be as profitable as ever because of the lack of regulation.
