I'm planning to invest in some STO's. This is much more regulated and the risk is smaller in comparison to a traditional ICO

Over time and technological advances in the digital era, many people have been very interested in investing some of their money in the world of cryptocurrency such as Ethereum / (Altcoins). What are your plans for next year, and will you participate in the ICO?
Thank you.

most ico currently have no more sophisticated ideas and concepts than the previous ico. this can worsen the ico project especially with ico who uses the financial system. of course there are now many shitcoin that don't have good prices because they don't have independent ideas and technology.

for now I prefer to be a bounty hunter or trade even if I only get a small profit, this year a lot of ICOs failed, and left by the developers, but, if things improve in the next year, maybe taking part in an ICO can be a good opportunity to get a substantial profit

It is difficult to say whether I will participate in the ICO next year or not. At the moment, it seems to me not profitable and also very risky, but if standards of investor protection are adopted at the legislative level and the endless fall in prices stops, participation in the ICO seems to me to be quite a good investment option.

This year a lot of ICO failed, even the difficulty to reach the softcap. This is because many investors may be traumatized by market conditions, and for the next year it seems that I will continue to invest in the ICO depending on the potential and benefits offered by the project.

now it is quite difficult to believe in some new ICO because most of them end up at a price that is losing money, which makes many people switch to trading with small profits and hunter bounties that take a long time, it's better, if you look at the current situation
whether that is going to happen next year, it's very difficult to predict, the market is improving now, but no one can guarantee it will last until next year

No, I will not participate any ICO even many will say it's an interesting ICO. I have my standard and probably if its facebook then why I should ignore it?

That's some exception that I'm setting but if its just a normal ICO just like what we've been seeing from time to time. I don't have any appetite for it anymore.

investing in cryptocurencies and good projects based on blockchain technology has nothing to do with ICOs. unfortunately ICOs have become like a simply and fast method of abusing that desperate need that people have for investing their money to make profit and they are ripping these people off easily.

good news is that dirty tricks like these are not going to survive for long. as we can see last year was their shining moment where they scammed a lot of money but starting from 2018 they have started dying and i think in 2019 we no longer will see any kind of ICO hype anymore.

We have to look at the bright side. Regulating ICOs is very helpful for the crypto community.
Because, more investors will feel more confident and quality projects will rise..

I intend to get more coins now with great potential to show next year.
2019 will be much better than this year, and if there will be more regulation on ICO to keep investors safety on scammers.
i will be back on the community to support and invest to new players.

Certain qualities about ICO's will for sure change in 2019.

Some certainties: 1) Better Audits; 2) More KYC / Regulation / Information; 3) More established product / service / functionality

I would still participate because there are still lot of ICOs with potentials waiting to be crowd funded in the market and profits are waiting for to be harvested. With ICOs being regulated there's more legit ICOs to choose from.

Based on our current news and activity, seems like in 2019 there will be a regulation that takes place in any ICO.
If ICO needs to get regulated first before running it, I will consider participating in those ICOs. At least, from regulation, I can minimize the risk and at the same time increase the probability to get profit from the ICO.

I will but just try to choose which is the best one has gained a lot of supports and demand. I have taken a big choice just like a project which backed by ripple co founder. It seems a big thing soon.

It's really difficult to predict what will happen next year. If the situation of crypto market in next year will be better so I think there is no reason we shouldn't invest in ICO in 2019 Smiley. If crypto market will rise back then it'll be a good signal for all ICO projects.

In my opinion,  I think putting up an investment in ICO's are good but the risk is much high than investing in the existing top 120 coins at Coinmarketcap. I believe that in the coming year, altcoins may further grow and I would rather prefer investing back in XYO network since it has a great potential that  could possibly generate promising profit.

ICO regulations will bring institutional investors, but casual investors may be put off due to the amount of KYC required. If it happens, the quality of ICOs will improve and we might see big projects like TEZOS taking in mega millions of investment

I agree with the principle
It depends on the strength of those projects
The power of the idea
the team
Roadmap
Partners ... etc.
