I really don't consider a good idea . Instead of using all your saving for investing in bitcoin and other alt coins you must limit the amount of investment . The division of ratio is pretty good but there is a need to cut the investment price . One must be prepared for facing the worst conditions as the crypto market is highly fluctuating . So firstly , invest some of the amount out of the savings .  The final decision is yours .
Market always fluctuates, not a single rate is permanent. Investing all your savings is a silly job because if rates go down so it would be very difficult for you to cope up with the disappointment. Instead you can invest half of your savings in the bitcoin because very less amount of tax is applied with no transaction costs. Bitcoin is providing you business opportunities at your home.

Hello guys! I am planning on investing all my savings (12500$) in cryptocurrency, so I would really like to hear your opinion. My current plan is to split it in to 3 :
-50% bitcoin.
-25% ethereum.
-25% litecoin.

I am investing the money at the next dip.
Please post your opinion guys.

Edit: I should mention that this is for a longtherm hold, about 5-10 years

Sorry for my bad english, but I am better reading it than writing it.. :p

Investing in cryptocurrency is good however why dont you consider diversifying your investment, what if it didnt turn out the way you expected it then nothing will left for you.

Dont invest all your savings, we know that investing in cryptocurrencies might be profitable but still there is no assurance about that and its not wise to put all your money.
I suggest also to not invest all your savings in crytocurrencies because of its unstable state of exchange currency. Maybe you can be lucky that you have earned that huge but that luck wasn't that consistent that on the next time you could get the same thing. Although investing in cryptocurrencies is profitable, but you would've thought what will gonna happen next.
I think it is not good to invest all of your savings into cryptocurrency because belive me yes it can give you big profit but is very risky. You might lose some of yout savings or worse you might lose all of your savings. You can try investing some of your savings in other investment aside from thw cryptoc world.

I think it's not good to invest your all savings into crypto.
U'd better spend half and make money in the real world for remain.
Cause crypto has biggest risk, but yeah, also biggest potential to make money or profit from it.
BTC now's in correction.
So yes, now's the chance to buy in the dip.

What coins I invested are BTC, ETH, LTC, Dash, Neo and OKCash

I disagree that you put all of your savings to cryptocurrency because indeed the price here are very volatile it might change immediately. We are giving our opinions here but the final decisions is yours, if you that's what you really want then go ahead, just monitor the price always so you will have idea what is happening to your money.
Agreed! It is very much risky to invest all your saving and that too in crypto currency. Investing your money is really a very good idea as it will help you in making a good amount of money but the thing is you need to have something in your pocket in case something goes wrong. I will suggest you to invest 70% of your funds while keep rest of your savings into your own account.

Yes, I would not invest everything. Diversify your portfolio and definitely invest some into Cryptocurrency, but hold some in case everything crashes one day.
It is good to diversify your portfolio but I am of opinion that there should be maximum bitcoin in your portfolio if you really want some good return form your investments because no other coin at present is equal to bitcoin in generating tremendous profits.

Moreover all other coins are dependent on bitcoin for increase and decrease in their prices, so why not buy leader than followers.

That's a good choice to invest and I totally agree with your decision and the percentage of your investment with your money. Just make sure Bitcoin will always have the greatest percentage because Bitcoin is the most volatile and is always fluctuating out of all the coins you've mentioned.
I agree with you that the investment rate is reasonable. But I find investing all the amount you have into crypto is risky. In general business and crypto business in particular, there is always risk. And that's reason for why you should not invest all your money.
There is no risk in investing all the saving and bitcoin is name of trust and those who did that at best are now the best profiteers and risk is everywhere so face the fear you will be blessed a lot and more of it I am investing my all monthly saving into bitcoin because I know this fact that bitcoin has potential that it will give a lot when I am in need and that’s true invest for secure future of you and your loved ones.

If you want to get real success in your life, then obviously a time comes when you have to take some pretty much risky decisions. My personal opinion is that if anyone has some knowledge about investing in Bitcoins and pre-experience only then he can go for investing all of his money in terms of digital currencies. But being a beginner in this field, we should start with smaller investments because the chances of a loss are great at that time.

Otherwise after a passage of time one really feels it a profitable job to invest in BTC. Therefore you should not give up on investing and keep on trying until you reach your goal.

It's not a good idea to invest your saving and you should have a different fund for investing but if you are still want to do it then it's fine. Looking at your split, i like bitcoin and ethereum but i don't like the litecoin since from my understanding it's just a poor man bitcoin, you may want to change it to privacy coin like monero for example as i believe it'll perform better in the future compared to litecoin.

According to me investing all your savings i.e 12500 which is a big amount is not advisable, though this year has been going exceptionally good for btc there is no guarantee what might happen in next 5-10 years.
so i would advise you to only invest part of your savings into buying bitcoins and ethereum.

Obviously it is not a good idea to put all your savings for the sake of investment in terms of Bitcoin .One of the most valid reason behind this point is that the price is subject to fluctuation and it is possible to decrease in the upcoming years therefore to avoid any bad situation you must keep  more than 70% of your total income for the sake of emergency and other funding where as rest of it could be manipulated in terms of investment.

Bitcoin is for true believers and investing all the saving into this coin will give a huge profit and I am also investing my monthly savings into this coin and I am sure that this will multiply my money and return me huge profit and there are a lot of people who invested into this coin and now they are getting high profits from it their savings are still and they are spending profit that come from their savings and this is better.

Investing all your saving incrypto currency might not be a good idea. Even if you are living under your parent there will still be need you may have to attend to by yourself on regular basis. Though what drive motivation for investing everything in crypto for some is ideology!

You need to diversify. Your first proposal was OK. Maybe if you are looking into other altcoins with different techniques I can suggest Ripple and Dash also.

But dont invest all your savings. And one good thing to do is not to invest everything at one occasion. If you are about to invest $10.000 you can decide to invest $3.333 the first every month for three months instead. This will lower you risk!

eToro have launched an interesting Crypto Fund that will automatically invest in the largest cryptocurrencies and relocate once every month. I havent tried it myself but you can read about it here.

I think it is a good way for you to earn more money. My advise is put all of your money to the bitcoin because it is the most profitable coin. You can be rich by investing your money to the bitcoin.

Invest all my saving years ago in bitcoin. I have never look back. As you can see. You can take an intelligent guess for those who own bitcoin as to what they worth now! Bitcoin has performed beyond and above my expectation. Still buying and holding as well.
But at that moment, people are too scared with Bitcoins. At that moment, Bitcoin was used for crinimals, they use it for transaction from each others. So it's hard to accepted . But now people are slowly accepting it.

Good plan for the future, advise you to make Ethereum %35, Litecoin %15.

Did you catch the dip for Bitcoin at $5500? If you were, you're so lucky cause the price will be never dropped to that price again  Cheesy
If the price will never drop again then good. But I think it will drop on the next hard fork this mid of November. Maybe small investor will get that oppurtunity to buy some bitcoin for a small amount for them to gain profit when bitcoin price will increase again. In my opinion, hold your bitcoin until next year.

That portfolio is good idea because all those coin strong in fundamental but by make investing all savings in to cryptocurrency I think that not good idea, because volatilty of crypto to high and we dont know excatly what will happen with crypto in the future. Will be great idea if make investment by maksimum 80% of all savings to crypto.

You what? If you have enough money left just to make survive with you with in 5-10 years that's okey buddy but if you have no left money and invest all of your savings their is big possibilities that what you invest is what you reap with 2 years.
well investing all your savings is really risky specially on cryptocurrency.i believe on spending only  the half of your savings  is secure than spending it all through investment .i think we must not keep searching for profit maybe we  must learn first different things on investing and the rest and all profits may follow.

I read here exclusively rational, quite reasonable statements: "do not invest everything!"

I was unreasonable a long time ago and have invested all I had in BTC and never regret it.

Bitcoin is much more than speculation to me. It's the beginning of an new world order. And I was there!
