This days investing in ICO's are really risky cause most of them are turning to scam and a quick pump and dump resulting into another airdrop. You just have to be research the new token that you plan on investing read the whitepaper on how muc progress they've made and if their reputation of that token is good like no bad comments and the ANN thread is going smoothly and many investors is showing signs of investing. In the end the more people the higher the price will be.
ICOs just began, is not the end of this market, it is just the very begging. In all markets there are scams, is not an ICO thing. Today you just need to find the more valid ICO to invest, the choices are much more than before.

really, investing in a large project is very profitable but it is very difficult to determine whether the project will succeed or not. many projects failed because it is not supported by investors.

If project is unique and has great team who will finish the work they are claiming at whitepaper then the answer is yes. But it's very hard to find good projects while there are hundreds of ICO each month. I'd like to advise to take into consideration soft and hard caps as well. They should suit to the claims.

yes they do profitable if a project is scam or something like that. I am not highly support ICO but I have to say that people always earn good money with ICO. Anyhow, I just want to say that you need to determine which ICO is good and which is made to steal people money so that you will not fall into their trap
Actually I can't imagine which words would fit to answer. In my opinion there might be both "yes" and "no"answers. Why? Because other people think of its negative effects. Their mind totally blind due to their negative experiences regarding this ICO. But how about its positive effects? Shall we not consider it?

Yes I believe it is. As i have found and registered for potentiam. All about music 🎶 and this is the future as I have lots of hopes for this particular ico.
