I don't have much faith in ICO and I have not invested any money in any ICO so far as everyone has negative impression about it so its better to stay away from it as its really hard to find any genuine ICO.

I think that invest to ICO is really risk

But if you find a good project and  you think that it has future, and you have enough money and you don't mind loose it, you can invest. Maybe your inversion will return with some profits.

In my case, I'm following two projects and wanting for the ICO, I will invest and I think that I can do some money.

It is still worth investing, you just have to find a right one.

If you are looking to flip it, look for ones with whitelists, KYC's, questionaires or something that makes it hard to get in, those will be the most hyped ones and will flip well.
All we have to do is to make out assignments really, we have to make that much of an effort; carefully and delicately make good choices by comparing all the ICOs that you might think has the potential to be successful again by making dramatic investigations in each and every ICO there is (well not every single thing).

I could only sugesst that you make contact with the people behind the project if it really is worth investing in.

Problem starts when People on both the side (Investors & Project owners) look at making quick buck. If if either one of the party did the research, the risk around ICOs could be mitigated. Having said that, it is quite a young market and it will eventually stabilise. Till then, choose where you invest, look for the background of the founders, their previous track history and experience. Start your shortlist criteria to be Projects with a working product & you should be fine.

I don't really like to invest in ICO's because a lot of them are really not surviving their first year to be fair. When investing in an ico you're essentially buying a concept that hasn't been proven to work. It's like buying a share of a company that has their business model written on a paper. A lot of people just want to make a quick buck and couldn't care less about the actual project. That's why I don't like the whole ico space.

Yes. When companies have a finished, working product, it is worth it. Check out KICKICO for example. They also have an amazing bounty campaign going on right now to get some of their coin for free.

I invested in KickICO and I am waiting for big returns Smiley. Their team is amazing as same as their project.

Otherwise investing in ICO is pretty cool, but be careful - find a good project, join telegram/slack community and find out sthg about the project. It is not so risky then

This is going to be one of the best advertising technologies platform in the world.
Yes ICO invest is a great promising steps in this time. there is many ICO is scam.
so i think it's a huge challenging to invest ICO.
ICO have a great opportunity for us . if we are get this opportunity, then we must invest ICO.
in this situation we must take some identification for this ICO.

First check the whitepaper and ERC20 token approval
then check team member and working scope
and who is the ANN thread project manager?

i think it's a minimum secure for our investment ICO.

ICOs can be very profitable. But recently there are hundreds of ICOs and choosing among them is way too tough. I invested in Monaco ICO and was able to gain approximately 20x profit. So, yes there are investment worthy ICOs. But before that one need to understand the project, team and whitepaper efficiently. Lots of scam ICOs are coming everyday. We need to be cautious with our funds.

It seems difficult now to invest in ICO. Some projects looks promising but may not be worth it to participate in their ICO. EOS for instance, if you bought during the first few months of their ICO, I'm sure you have regret it, because right now, EOS token sells on exchane below 50% off the ico price. Terrible! Same with PROPY ico.

I believe that investing in ICO is still profitable but only if you are able to find a project which is legit and has enormous potential. Look for projects with strong team. These projects can help you earn high returns.

Investing in ICOs entails a huge amount of risk and its not just a quick decision to make. Aside from the fact that not all ICOs will be successful, some don't live up to its promises or arrangement. Although not all ICOs are scam but just to lessen the possibility of being a victim of such, before investing in an ICO, you must first research about it and study the ico before diving into uncertainty and hope it will succeed.

investing in ICOs is getting riskier day by day just because many projects are trying collect funds based on what they think they will become in the future, but not what they are. i think 0x was the best ico this year in terms of how they managed the token sale process.

It took a lot of time writing this post and ico are not just relevant, but is rapidly gaining momentum and is becoming each time bigger and grander. It is not an indicator of their success?

no dont invest in any icos, 99% are scams ICOs are honeypots for dumpers. you pay your expensive btc or eth and inturn you get wortless tokens

on exchange launch day like tezos or eos most ico tokens will lose 90% of the value be careful
Really? That high? Well I wouldn't be so sure about that because for one, you don't have any proof at all to support your statement. I mean I would only say that 99% of all the ICOs that you've participated are scams, I think. Because you wouldn't accuse most of the ICOs are scams if you haven't experienced such tragedy.

Its nothing personal mate but my accusations are quite 80% correct right now, logically that is.

I am a person that gains profit from investing in ICOs but now I'm having second thoughts. I know some ICOs are potential scam so I am really picky to where I put my money.
Anyway, considering with what happened to Ethereum price and with the nearing Aigist 1, do you guys think that it will still be profitable to invest on ICOs mostly on ERC20 tokens and those accepting btc payments?

Investing in some ICO is still one of the promising and ways to gain profit. As we can see there are many ICO that want to start and ICO who want to infiltrate to the market of cryptocurrency. So I think its profitable and promising , we just need to focus and read and know about the project where we want to invest. We just need to choose wisely in who and what are the coins that is good to invest and worth the risk in the long term.

some ICO maybe is scam. Be careful if u want to invest in ICO. Dont be tempted if price offered is high. Its can be is the way to deceive us.
The bonuses are one way to gauge how serious an ico is when the bonuses are too large most of the time I forget about the ico, small bonuses or no bonus at all speak of the seriousness of the project but obvious that is not all what you need to watch to protect you from scams.
