I am a person that gains profit from investing in ICOs but now I'm having second thoughts. I know some ICOs are potential scam so I am really picky to where I put my money.
Anyway, considering with what happened to Ethereum price and with the nearing Aigist 1, do you guys think that it will still be profitable to invest on ICOs mostly on ERC20 tokens and those accepting btc payments?
I think that still profitable if you invest in ICOs on ERC20 Tokens the ETH price is crashed because August 1. If you invest before that i think it's good to take advantage of falling ETH prices. I'm sure the price will go up. But it depend on the project you invest in, the project must be high quality.

People have to do an exhaustive search first before making any decisions,if they do not feel secure about something is better that they do not make any investment,They should only look for projects that really seem to be serious with a good team behind the project that always maintains a direct and clear communication from the beginning.
Agree with you.

Yup I guess it is. With investments in three to four ICO previously I have confidence that ICO are profitable. I have been lucky to put my stakes on few and those turned out to be best price per coin after ICI ended. Their products got launched smoothly and I was happy to gain profit from them as shareholder.

You need to be really watchful of the ICOs offering tokens these days, mate. A great lot of these ICOs are only trying to get some money from people. But I am not saying all the ICOs are scam. Many are legitimate. Although you still need to be careful because by the time the tokens reach trading platforms, they might go below ICO price.

i think investing in ico is better then non ico coin, but you should not invest blanket style, be picky and make 1 or 2 a year. Also, the lesser known one are the best, if they raise too much money then the upside is gone. Last year's best performer ico coin actuality struggle to raise money but have just enough and made their investors rich. (eg. stratis, antshares, komodo, ark etc all did well and raise little money)   Wink

yes they do profitable if a project is scam or something like that. I am not highly support ICO but I have to say that people always earn good money with ICO. Anyhow, I just want to say that you need to determine which ICO is good and which is made to steal people money so that you will not fall into their trap
There's nothing wrong with investing in ICO projects, it is still promising. It's just, a person wanting to invest in such must be knowledgeable and must be informative about the project he will be investing to. Yes there are some ICO projects that are scams but a person must choose wisely and must avoid these scam projects. We all know that investing in ICO projects somehow involves risks but when it earns it will surely give high profits.

I think investing in ICO'S now are more promising than any other coin but make sure the ICO coins you are investing have a roadmap and their project is clear that you can say it can benefit and will progress in the future. There are some scam ICO's too so you can never be too sure or you can't be a 100% sure that all ICO coins are worth investing.

There are ICOs that are worth investing. The crucial point is the team and that is the place where one should be looking at, if the dev teams have a good track record.
The developers are critical when it comes to the success of a coin but at the same time the developers are not important if the project is not going to work at the end, the code does not matter if the idea and the coin itself is not going to work because it does not solve anything or because it does not have a market that can grow, so it is important to read the whitepaper and see if the coin has a future, then you can focus in the execution.
It may be risky but it's worth it. If we didn't give it a try then how can we be successful, ICOs now maybe too many to know which is real or an scam but we all need to research it and know it's capabilities before trusting it.

It should be invest at your own risk. Be picky where to invest from as our money is just not easy to earn.
We should know what are the promising ICO's that worth to invest.
Make some readings like their white paper and you'll see the roadmap is interesting.
I'm likely to invest in ico even this is just for short term but at least I'll be able to return my investment at least x2 or more.
It's a matter of win or lose decision.

Try investing with SHADOWToken, see my signature. Other altcoins are startups, but this coins is already established a few years ago. Its a mobile app with already a million downloads in Google Play. Already earning a good profit from token credits. They just want to enter the crypto.
If you want a working product, shadowTtoken is definitely a worth Investing ICO, it already gained its popularity and it can be use in any platform. It will be a hit and many will invest on it since it is already developed.
Investing an ICO is still promising indeed. You were right like a Shadow Token this ICO has a potential and promising project. Which actually had a mobile application game that offer a nice service to the users.

This is going to start being the norm in my opinion. With so many scams around people are going to start demanding a working or at least partially developed product before putting in their hard earned money.

I dont think, Investing in ICO in current scenario will make sense..
Most of the ICO's are flooded with investors
Last few ICO's been trading below the ICO price... like Starta, Nimiq, Primalbase, Pillar.

I think we have missed the golden era of ICO, which was 1 year back, where Stratis can be bought at 3000 satoshi and its currently trading at x30

With the creation of an easy token will lead the crooks to take advantage of ICO projects to scam investors. With the current situation, the US Securities and Exchange Commission has taken a step forward and launched a move that will tighten ICO projects, indicating a good sign of the market and fraudulent projects will be removed.. it depends on you, if you type of guy who only reads the ann page like 2 minutes because like the "appearance" of how they displaying "you will be rich" and doesn't even read the whitepaper, just beware. But if you type of guy who consider project because what will they do with your money, understand their whitepaper, and find out they reputation, maybe you can take a chance "to be rich", just be aware with your money and don't waste it for nothing, people work hard for it.

I invest a lot in ICO because I am quite sure of the ICO I choose and certainly have high potential. I restrict investment in ICOs without clear and unplanned information in the future
when we invest we should take that things into consideration, we aim to earn so we better find ico tha is worth investing who have potential for success and will gives benefits to us for long term.
