No, I think investment at the early stage or private sale is better because in that phase you have a great chance to purchase in a cheaper price. Which means also better income. If you wait for investing after ICO, I think you will lose money.

I see a lot of people wondering if they should invest in ICO's. I think the best option for any potential investor is to wait until the ICO ends, THEN invest. For instance, Nauticus was an ICO that started back in March. They recently launched their exchange and have been doing pretty good. Prices are only down 30% from the ICO price. That is a GOOD sign, BUT the prices still fell! This was a high quality project that raised $19,000,000. If they're falling a little bit due to the bear market, then you can expect 99% of the other ICO's currently out there to fall as well. It's all going to be dependent on the market, but in terms of risk I think it's better off if you just wait, THEN invest after the product launches. At the end of the day DYOR! It's imperative that you guys understand that we are in a bear market. Even the best projects like Nauticus, Ethereum, Bitcoin, NEO ect are all falling. I would assume that they won't fall forever tho Tongue

It depends on the token sales bonus too, indeed investing after ico enters the market will be better, because it avoids the risk of scam. Then what you say is true, the market conditions are not good even the large crypto has decreased in value. The point depends on the crypto market itself and because it is now better to invest after ICO is correct.

I prefer when investing after ICO, especially if a project is directly registered in a large exchange like Binance, I will not hesitate to invest there. Because I am sure that the project is really serious.

ico in my opinion is not a good solution for an investment. and now in my opinion the good thing is that we can invest in other sectors rather than ico that is full of fraud
investing before ICO will certainly provide strong support so that the ICO can achieve its best success. however, many people think that investing after ICO, they can get a cheaper price. well, both of them I think will look the same. the thing that determines it is how you will use the coins you get.

Not sure if this is shilling of Nauctius? Anyway, it's good idea to invest after the ICO, usually bounty hunters and in need of money investors dump on forkdelta/etherdelta/idex. You will be able to purchase at much less price than ICO price.

I hope investing in ICO is really very bad choice because once they hit the exchange the coin price starts dumping but before that we need to find one thing whether the company has huge potential which they are following the roadmap or not we have to consider. Once if you confirm it then start buying them in the market for low prices and hold it for one more year in order to make a huge profit.

With all the fluctuation and the level of price in altcoins, i prefer to make an investment after the ICO phase.
For me that would be a lot safer if looking on today's market condition.

yes , when ico are launch on exchanges, a lot of bounty hunters are dumping just to have some quick bucks making the coin price drop lower than the ico price. I think bounty is double edge sword. because of bounty, many people see the and get aware of a project and at the same time, bounty hunters are the reason why the price goes down when it hit exchange for the first time.

Well, it was fact that Nauticus did in above case ICO during bear market and price went down pegged to overall market impression. If someone is doing an ICO during a bear market the result can be other way round: if you invest in ICO you have a bigger profit than investing after ICO.
If market is going sidewarts it should normally be fifty fifty chance.

I fully agree with the author of this article. today it is better not to invest money in pre-sale it is best to buy coins after they are listed on the exchange almost always the price of these coins is much lower than the main sale, but still there are projects that need to be invested at the time of the main sale, because after the exchange the price is sure to grow

We are in a bear market and it takes longer for a coin to be profitable. The whole ICO and the listing  process is much longer then it was before. Many investors losing their patience and dumping their coins below ICO price. It is more beneficial not to invest during the ICO phase and buy coins on DEXes after listing.

The market scenario has been like that in the past year. If you are a small time investor, better do the trading when a certain coin hits the exchange.
Unlike in the year 2017, if you invested in a good project, you will really gain a lot after listing.
The past year has been a difficult year not only for investors but to those project creators. Generating funds was very tough and so most of them were now abandoned.
And since we are still in the bear market, I would say, better invest after the ICO. And only invest on the platform which has real application in the market. Because with real use case, there will be real demand to utilize that coin, and so the price will increase eventually.

That depends on how good the ico is. I have invested directly into zilliqa because i have known if that will worth a lot in the future, im not even regret because it has turned my money into more than 30x from the ico price and i have sold em all

it's all depend on the project itself, if the project has value and have a use for it's token also active and experienced developers team so better join in ICO, cause it's good for the long run.
but the safe way was to invest after ICO but the profit is not as many on pre sale or even on private sale.
just my oppinion though.

If you pay attention to the fact that today many projects immediately fall after the ICO and sometimes it happens that after some time the projects are getting more expensive, I think it’s time to buy after the ICO, but the question is in bonuses. How much are they willing to give

Both decisions can be a good benefit, depending on the community and the team that handles the project.
If the team knows the strategy to go by in order to prevent unnecessary dump, then the fall will be minimized.
I have seen some few projects perform that well, even in bear market.
Then whoever want to invest in a coin, either after ICO or even before, should bear it in mind that anything can happen.

The price of a token after the completion of ICO depends only on the phase of the market, if the market dips, then the price will decline, and if the market rises, then the price of the token will immediately start to grow. Today it is more profitable to invest after the completion of the ICO because tokens become cheaper by more than 10 times.

If You are an early investor I think you will gain some benefits during private sale or presales but must of the time regular investors get left behind I think is safe to wait and maybe buy from dump but  there is already enough project to invest in if you are looking for that

I think that today it is much more profitable to invest after that when the coins come out on the stock exchange because they almost always fall in price and you can buy much cheaper on the stock exchange.
