It was very profitable to invest in ICO about 3-5 month ago. It was more or less easy to identify a good ICO that would definitely make x2 and higher in a short period after listing on exchanges. But nowadays it's much harder due to a large amount of ICOs and their demands to raise 50-500$ millions. During the last month only 3 ICOs were really successfull:
- PedPulse (RPX) - x3 in 2 hours after listing on Kuckoin
- Electroneum (ETN) - x20 just after listing on Cryptopia
- Hedge (HDG) - x4 in a day after listing on HitBTC
Anyway there're much more projects which token's price will rise in near future. So I still believe that ICOs are quite good for investing your money.

First of all you shoud understand that all depends only from you and your brains. There are always will be a risks in investments no matter in what. Even if you confidence for 100% you can lose money in ICO. A lot of situations when very promising projects become a scam. Do your own research good luck.
I guess that everything has pros and cons. ICOs are good to make profit, but you need to know all project.

not just study, you need to understand the full project and focus on a projects future gals and then it's member, If the project have good managers then they will definitely make future of project profitable for investors, it's up to us to make understand the whole project, and then invest. Don't follow others advises, make decision by your self.

i think there is still so much promising ico out there. after all cryptocurrency is a currency made for trading and as a payment and ofcourse money is for doing business so i believe its still worth enough.

I only invest into icos I like and that will have some impact on the space. For me dapps are useless, every coin should have its own blockchain I don't like token coins unless they can be swapped later on.
Of course it's good as long as you can find out a good ICO project to invest in )) But the biggest problem is finding a good project to invest in is not easy, you must have a lot of experience about it and have some way to know which one is scam or not. As I know people often check the deposit address to see if they are scam or not.

There are still successful ICOs worth to invest but as an investor you should be wary on plenty of ICOs who are launching now a days because some ICOs are just used for personal interest and only exist on whitepapers and not in real life.So it is better to do a research and due negligence before investing.Though investing on a legitimate and successful ICO is a good idea were managers or leaders are strong and have a transparent community so that what you have contributed for that project will return in a fair share.
It depends, I would rather invest in pre-ico, because of the bonuses. The problem is that many investors (before pre-ico sale) get a lot of bonuses. They sell their token for real cheap after ICO and that is how the price drops. I dont know why they dont lock the tokens for presale for at least 6 months.
If you did that, nobody would attend a presale anymore. How do you want to argue that even though you are one of the first to support the team and project, you are only allowed to trade with your coins on the exchange after 6 months?
I think investing in ico will be very good and profitable if you can find a good ico, but the problem is we sometimes difficult to distinguish between good ico and not.
If you are made good research and sure about the project then investing in ICO is a good choice. At any others cases it is not. imo

investing in an ico is not bad and not good either because some of them has the potential to fail or some are scams and only 40% are the really promising and will likely to succeed based on my experience joining and investing on some ico. youd better think twice if you want to invest on it and keep in mind that you need to research them first not just jumping in immediately to avoid uncessary problems that may occur.
Unfortunataly you bought the tokens of shit coins or from scammers means what will do bro. Please check their blog and white paper first before you are going to invest on any ICO project.

Most ICOs are just scam, where they collect users money and run away. They don't even have a working prototype/platform. Most of the tokens are also using for pumping and dumping - which ends up dying. Only few legit ICO pops up once in a while. Look for ICO where there are well known developers and looks promising.

According to my experience, is the best investment. I invested to Stratis when it was very cheap and I did easy x3 my money, To Lykke x4 and Sia..
The point is to to invest to good ICOs not just invest randomly. If you want high profits in few months ICOs are the only choice.
