So if you give 6% I have done the same 5 minutes ago.
So 6% of my ICO-Amount are now transfered to foundation (inserted the 6% during claiming them)

I wouldn't say it was easy, because since yesterday evening I've been trying to complete the procedure of claiming+donating... Funny, because I had no great problems with other versions of IRI.
At first, I simply followed the instructions at http://forum.iotatoken.com/t/iota-testing-of-0-9-17-has-commenced/274/2 as it worked fine in previous versions. But this time it did not work. At the chat I was told the problem would be with my OS version or Java Version...
I Updated everything, and as the problem continued, I tested another solution: Not following the above mentioned instructions. So I simply deleted everything, unzipped the IRI 0.9.17 file, and used the standard IRI and config (without touching config.iri or nodes.iri).
Then, it seemed to have worked: Nostalgia asked me about the donation, I answered accordingly (5%). But, no answer... I waited for hours and received no return...
So I deleted everything again, unzipped the original file and tried. But nostalgia didn't even seen to be working anymore.
So I saw dominik's message at http://forum.iotatoken.com/t/iota-testing-of-0-9-17-has-commenced/274/32 with the instruction to use http://188.138.57.93/nostalgia.html instead of the standard nostalgia of the zip file....
I did it and, finally, it worked ^^
So, if my experience serves as a parameter: simply use the standard updated IRI zip file, except the nostalgia, that should be the one provided by dominik

current version has UI and it is good enough for users to claim their coins and make transactions.

3. Go to http://188.138.57.93/nostalgia.html
4. Claim IOTAs and enter donation %
5. You will need to wait 10-15 minutes and your new IOTA balance will show
It's not web wallet, you can run nostalgia.html from the same folder where your jar file placed
