Cybersport's future: e-Sports Student League 2018 summary

e-Sports Student League tournament took place on December 1st. This year, IQeon was the general sponsor of the event. Over 2000 students from universities of Belarus contended for the right to be named the best players in 5 disciplines.

Competitive and, at the same time, friendly spirit reigned at the event. The teams were not giving up the positions at any minute. Fans were not only supporting their favorite players but also had fun participating in various activities. League organizers made sure that all participants found an activity they like. We are pleased to introduce you the winners of the tournament!



All teams and players that have taken the 1st places were awarded with IQN gaming cryptocurrency that can be used in the IQeon platform. Participation in DevGAMM 2018 conference

On November 15-16, IQeon team visited the largest video game conference in Eastern Europe - DevGAMM 2018. The project participated in the even as the Gold sponsor. The conference gathered over 2000 professional in the gaming industry and 90 speakers from 30 countries who have discussed questions regarding the future of the modern video game development market. Many mass media and visitors have shown great interest in the project and visited our stand. Our team not only presented IQeon to the audience but also meet the founders of several gaming projects that might join our platform in the future, received advice from professionals and had a chat with developers.

IQeon team introduced a new Development Update

IQeon developers don’t stop their work on improving the functionality of the platform. The Personal Account update has been introduced recently. It features extended functionality for the users. We re-enabled the ability to track IQN balance, added transaction history as well as included some profile personalization features.

IQeon Development Update - November

Dear friends! There were several key updates in the development of IQeon during the past month. Today you will learn the latest details on preparations for the upcoming platform launch. We’ll also cover the progress of IQeon Wallet development and share our plans with you.

Personal Account

Updated personal account with new design and features is already available! Now all users can add or remove their wallets, see balances in accordance with the current cryptocurrency exchange rate and track the history of transactions.

All user data from an existing account is automatically synchronized with the IQeon platform which means additional registration in the future will not be required.

IQeon Platform

The first stage of closed testing for game developers was successfully completed, our team made complex data analysis and the testing process continues with new tasks.

At the moment, the following interim results have been achieved:

• Extension of Game API for integrations
• Added new competition type "Lobby", allowing to determine the winner from a larger number of participants
• Many other functional improvements

Development of the IQeon Wallet is in full swing - our team managed to integrate the app with the platform, which gives the option to easily export the wallet from the platform into IQeon Wallet app, with subsequent activation.

Also, during this month we’ve made our best to improve the mechanisms for displaying competitions in which the user took part. One of the most important aspects of these works was the confirmation of participation in the competition through push notifications.

Future Plans

The team sets ambitious goals for the next month, on December 11 we will share the results of our decision on applications received from beta testers and move on to the stage of closed testing for players! This stage will be crucial for the transition to the first version of the platform - IQeon Open Beta.

IQeon at DevGAMM: new contacts, potential partners and media attention

On November 15-16, Minsk hosted the largest gaming conference in Eastern Europe – DevGAMM. Our project became Gold sponsor and enjoyed significant attention from the side of media and the gaming community.

DevGAMM’s history took its roots 10 years ago when it was just a small local event for developers. Today the conference has reached a global level and welcomes gaming professionals from 30 countries.

Over 2000 visitors, 90 speakers and 100+ gaming projects were presented at this event. A rich program, dozens of simultaneous activities – and all these happened just in 2 days. We managed not only to present IQeon but also to learn about other interesting projects, hear the views of professionals, communicate with developers and find out a lot of useful information about new trends in the gaming industry.

IQeon platform attracted major media attention. Our team explained the capacities of the project to the journalists of such major local portals as KV.by, Bel.biz, La.by and many others.

The first stage of closed beta testing of the IQeon platform for game developers begins today. We will check the workflow of interfaces, games integration and test all internal systems. As you already know - this is only the first stage of the platform release, what awaits us next?

Personal Account Update

IQeon team is glad to announce that the updated Personal Account with a new design and extended capabilities will be available today!

Starting today in the Personal Account, any registered user can add or delete wallets, access the balance, and also learn useful guidelines for working with the IQN cryptocurrency. Thanks to integration with the platform, basic personalization of the account is now available.

To activate the updated Personal Account, you will need to change your password. During the weekend, all previously registered users will receive an email with a simple instruction on how to do it.

The IQeon platform is constantly being improved: this month we will add a fully-fledged display of all transactions in the Personal Account. In future, we will continue to work on improving it and will definitely expand the existing functionality. We would like to remind you that when the platform launches you will not need to register a separate Player Account - all your data from the existing Personal Account will be automatically synchronized.

Even though the wallet security is impenetrable and key is untrackable, why would anyone use Trezor wallet for auth on garbage site.s  Fill in the password and random set of characters for username and you are good. That is a redundant feature. Introduction of gaming to Trezor wallet is not as futile as a auth but you can always argue that its also a redundant fancy.

Really very nice to hear this, i think more people will appreciate this more because majority of crypto hodlers prefer to store their tokens in hardware wallet for more security and rest of mind, great job team iqeon.
