Accession to the Blockchain Game Alliance

In September, IQeon joined the Blockchain Game Alliance. This organization combines  companies that create products and tools for blockchain integration. Major market players Ubisoft and Fig are among the alliance’s members. Now, our company is a member too.

Participation in gamedev and blockchain conferences

This month, IQeon’s CBDO Vitaliy Eremeychik was a speaker at the conference as part of the interactive exhibition of gaming industry “GameExpo” in Minsk (Belarus) with the presentation "Whether blockchain and game industry are compatible?". He told about the new monetization model, advantages of distributed ledger technology for users and developers. Also in September, IQeon team presented Estonia at the international conference “BlockchainUA” in Kyiv (Ukraine) dedicated to the application of blockchain technology in IT business and other spheres.

Intellectual quiz for our partners

Specially to the 5th anniversary of ABA Marketing Group Inc. we prepared an intellectual quiz dedicated to the history of the company and investment. The quiz was first presented at the International Meeting of Advisors of ABA Marketing, which was held in Antalya (Turkey) in September. The participant, who answered all the questions correctly, received a gift certificate of 500 IQN from IQeon company.

IQeon’s interview for Tsinghua University

In September,an interview of IQeon CEO Vadim Dovguchits and CISO of the company Denys Havrylenko was published on the official page of the Cultural and Creative Finance Research Center at Tsinghua University on WeChat. It was on the development of the gaming platform, advantages of Ethereum and the future of blockchain technology.

Contest for the best player of the week

Well-known among platform users contest "Weekly Challenge" was held on the platform in September. Every Thursday we chose a game, where users could get 5 IQN to their gaming account when competing. Throughout September, there were the following games: "Jumpy Jelly", "Crashy Racing", "Ball Line" and "Survival Shooter".

The last game of September is "Sky Jump". The winner will be the player with the maximum points at the end of the week. The results will be published on our social networks on Friday.

“IQeon Giveaway” contest with the prize fund up to 450 IQN completed

“IQeon Giveaway” contest with the prize fund up to 450 IQN was held on IQeon.com and IQeon communities from August 1 to September 16. During its three stages, we familiarized participants with the possibilities of the gaming PvP platform and our communities on social media. Over 150 users took part in the contest. In the outcome of all the stages of “IQeon Giveaway”, 25 winners were selected by a randomizer and awarded.

PvP gaming platform changes:

• Run of the game chat, where authorized platform users can communicate;
• New “In developing” section with games, which are planned to be added to the platform;
• Simplified registration process on the platform;
• Rating of the best players of the month;
• “Download client” button to run energy-intensive games;
• Sidebar with the last deposits on the platform;
• Gameplay changes in the "Droppy Tower" game.

IQeon teamed up with major market players to promote blockchain games

We continue to expand the network of our partners. In September, IQeon joined The Blockchain Game Alliance, combining gaming and blockchain companies.

Among the alliance’s members are not only major market players like Ubisoft and Fig, but also other companies that  create products and tools for blockchain integration. IQeon and our new partners share a common goal – to raise awareness about distributed ledger technology, its capacity and new possibilities for developers and players.

The Blockchain Game Alliance promotes blockchain within the game industry, provides an open forum for individuals and companies to share knowledge and collaborate, create common standards, establish best practices, and network.

IQeon Development Update – September 24

General platform changes:

• Platform sidebars, displaying sections with games genres, rating of the best players of the month, chat and the last deposits on players' accounts were fixed. Now a user can see all the information on sidebars, when scrolling.
• The limit of symbols sent to the platfrom’s chat is enlarged up to 120. If you try to send more, you will be notified that the limit has been exceeded.
• The error in mobile version of the platform was fixed – the right sidebar is displayed correctly now.

Games’ module:

Points system in the game "Droppy Tower" was fixed. Now the maximum score for one move is established correctly.

IQeon team presented Estonia at the “BlockchainUA” in Kyiv

The Seventh International Conference “BlockchainUA” was held in Kyiv (Ukraine) on September 20. It was organized by “Distributed Lab” and dedicated to the application of blockchain technology in IT business and other spheres.

More than 500 participants from more than 20 countries attended the conference. There were crypto enthusiasts, IT and blockchain experts, businessmen, investors and bankers. The speakers of the conference were representatives of innovative companies, such as Coinsbit.io, TransferGo and some other. 

IQeon team, represented by CEO of the project Vadim Dovguchits, CBDO Vitaliy Eremeychik and CLO Alexander Paramonov presented Estonia at “BlockchainUA”.



Participants of the conference discussed a wide range of topics, from popular cryptocurrencies and blockchain projects’ investment trends to fundraising and cyber security.

"More and more scammers appear with the increasing of blockchain popularity. Attackers’ interest is piqued by the fact, that the legislation of many countries hasn't figured out how to respond to cyber attacks. For example, stealing cryptocurrency in Ukraine is not considered a crime. IQeon is an international gaming platform, that’s why we need to take into account the legislation of each country, where our players come from. Our goal is to work in a proactive manner and do everything possible to keep our users’ assets safe”, shared his opinion Vitaliy Eremeychik after the conference."

Also, CBDO noted the excellent organization of the conference and openness of the Ukrainian blockchain community.

"Such conferences, as “BlockchainUA” gets the possibility to hear the views of authorities and business about the latest trends in the sphere. For example, it was rather interesting to know the view of my colleagues about strengthening the legislation regulated cryptocurrencies in the USA. It will enter into force in early 2020. These changes will influence crypto businesses of different countries. Therefore we should take it into account to correct the strategy for the further development of our platform, told Alexander Paramonov."

IQeon representatives expanded the network of international contacts in Kyiv. Gordon Einstein, American lawyer who supports crypto communities, was one of the experts, with whom our team had a chance to meet in person. He was really interested in the scheme of monetization of players’ achievements that IQeon.com platform offers and gave several advice, how to release the gaming product to the US market.

This phrase from the interview - it won’t be enough for users to play games without any guarantees of reliability and transparency, which blockchain gives... I think such a perception exists for today. We are really need transparency. And not only in gaming.

Siarhei Dzenisenka, IQeon’s lead designer: “I always seek to look at my works from users’ side”

We continue to introduce you the people who develop and improve IQeon. We are pleased to present you Siarhei Dzenisenka, IQeon’s lead designer!

Siarhei draws as long as he can remember. A passion, over time, became his profession. He has improved in web design and UI/UX, working at web studios. Siarhei achieved level, when the projects for which he developed a visual style got on the top of Bynet web sites rating.

Siarhei has been in IQeon team for more than a year. He creates design for the entire ecosystem, which consists of site, platform, printed matters and much more. And by the way, for the first time Siarhei tried his hand at designing of mobile-apps and gaming interfaces in the company.  

"UI/UX design in mobile development is very important, especially regarding games. Because a user has perceptions of interface, and any innovations are unused for him and can prevent using a product. I always seek to look at my works from users’ side to understand, what he thinks, if the platform functionality is comfortable for him and how quickly he gets used to interface, the lead designer considers."

Siarhei Dzenisenka always seeks to look for a fresh perspective, new approaches and solutions in design. Meanwhile, of course, he takes into account models and templates, which are well established. So, according to Siarhei, blockchain projects design has its own features...

"This is the new sphere with innovative solutions, which are also reflected in design. I notice that there are common features in websites of projects, developed using blockchain technology. There are bright contrast elements and illustrations in most cases, geometric figures and large print. I think such of specificities were formed, because people wanted to describe the essence of the revolutionary blockchain technology in design. So, certain images took root for blockchain. For example, neural networks, moving ahead, digital code, speed and dynamics”, — listed Siarhei.

As for IQeon ecosystem products, Siarhei not only seeks to reflect innovativeness in design, but also tries to interest the audience as much as possible by drawing it into the game worlds with juicy pictures.

"IQeon platform really inspires me as a designer. New games with a unique graphics continues to be added, and I create its design. Sometimes, I like to do many different styles. It actually improves my design skills."

The “IQeon Giveaway” is over! Our congratulations to the winners!

The large-scale contest, launched on the platform and IQeon communities in early August, is over! In total, over 150 users of the platform took part in the contest.

“IQeon Giveaway” took place in 3 stages, each of which helped participants to know more about possibilities of IQeon PvP gaming platform.   

So, in the first round of the contest Follow IQeon, participants met our communities in social media. 100 IQN were played among 10 lucky ones.

In the second stage “Play Games” with the prize fund 200 IQN, participants were able to check their skills in games of the platform. 10 randomly selected players received a 20 IQN bonus on their gaming accounts.

Finally, we invited users to join trading on the platform and deposit 5 IQN on the third stage “Deposit IQN”. The prize fund of the final stage was 150 IQN.

Interview with IQeon team for the Tsinghua University about blockchain games and Chinese players

IQeon founder Vadim Dovguchits and CISO of the company Denys Havrylenko were interviewed by Cultural and Creative Finance Research Center at the Tsinghua University. The article was published on the official page of the center on WeChat.

Game industry is the second largest of spheres using blockchain technology, after finance sector. Blockchain can improve game process and give a completely new experience for users. Developers of the platform, based on Ethereum, tried to fully exploit all the advantages, which blockchain gives. Thanks to this technology, it was possible to create the safe storage system of users’ funds and ensure that transaction history and game process are open and transparent.

Blockchain projects are still gaining popularity, therefore IQeon platform can be a guide, what leads users into the high tech world, by its gaming component. But entertainment is not the key goal of the team.

"The IQeon mission is to motivate our users to develop their qualities and skills in intellectual games. Also, to give them an opportunity to learn something new", — emphasized Vadim Dovguchits.

In the interview, the founder of PvP platform described the difficulties that facing developers of blockchain projects and presented how to decrease disadvantages of the technology and make it more attractive for business.

The Tsinghua University’s researchers were particularly interested in activity of Chinese players on the platform. As Denys Havrylenko stated, Chinese players differ by high productivity and large number of victories. He promised that IQeon will be more comfortable for foreign players in the future. The company plans to localize the platform and make it more accessible for users with different languages.

"I am sure that in 10 years blockchain technology will become an integral part of games. And it won’t be enough for users to play games without any guarantees of reliability and transparency, which blockchain gives. We believe that blockchain is the future of the game industry", — Denys Havrylenko summarized.

IQeon Development Update – September 10th

General platform changes:

• The game chat, where authorized platform  users can communicate, was added;
• Rating of the best players of the month was created. The top players’ nicknames, who won the most number of times within a month are available in the sidebar of the platform;
• Display of the recent deposits on the platform was configured. Thanks to that users can track IQN transferring online;
• The “In developing” section appeared on the games selection’s bar. There will be games, which are planned to be added on the platform. The section will be completed shortly;
• The “Download client” button was added. In the future, IQeon client will allow to run energy-intensive products from users’ PC without using a browser and prevent possible trouble launching of games on users’ devices;

• Login and registration on the platform were simplified. Thanks to that, users can login to their accounts using any social media (Facebook and VK), provided that their pages have  the same email address;
• Registration process was improved. reCAPTCHA was added and push notifications were hidden when filling out the registration form.

Yuriy Lipinsky, IQeon’s lead web developer: “I'm proud to be part of this team”

We are launching the series of interviews about people who work on the IQeon platform.

We are pleased to introduce our team – people who develop and improve IQeon platform. Meet Yuriy Lipinsky, IQeon’s lead web developer!

Yuriy studied programming at the School of Business of Belarusian State University. His background is a considerable number of sites and online stores. He also has a wide-ranging experience in the analysis, data processing and full-stack development.

Yuriy Lipinsky joined IQeon team as a front-end developer in the beginning of 2019. As for today, he is a full-stack developer. Yuriy supports the platform, fixes errors and adds new features interesting to players.

“The development of leaderboard on the platform was the most interesting task for me, because it combined front-end and back-end parts. The front-end was realised through the WebSockets and the back-end using PHP. Generally, web development approaches keep changing all the time. There was a time, when front-end and back-end programming weren’t particularly divided. Then the responsibilities for working with the server and the client part began to segregate. And now, redistribution is taking place again. As a result, building of server-side logic gradually falls to the front-end developer”, — told Yuriy Lipinsky.

Any programmer have to be hunger for knowledge, strive to learn and implement new tools at work. That is the only way to keep a professional in your field. Yuriy Lipinsky doesn’t stop on already studied frameworks, such as AngularJS, ReactJS and other ones. He seeks to explore deeper into PHP and JavaScript ecosystems, in order to implement the new tools in his work.

The platform has moved to the open beta-test stage on the 26 of March 2019. It is a source of considerable pride for Yuriy, because a technical stability of IQeon.com launching was up to him.

“I really remembered the phrase from the Tony Hsieh’s book. It is a story of creation the “Zappos” company, which “Amazon” has bought afterwards. The company’s products should raise the “wow effect” for its staff, and thanks to that, significantly greater results  can be achieved in business. IQeon is just a case in point. The idea of the platform allows to develop it in opposite directions and using a digital asset as in-game currency gets possibility to create quiet real values out of virtual items. In addition, our platform is a good chance for developers to find an audience for their gaming products. IQeon architecture has already allowed to integrate into the platform a large number of games. So, the platform has great prospects! I'm proud of being a part of this team”, — emphasized Yuriy.
