There are too many altcoins that came out of nowhere over the past year.
Most of the projects that sold them still don't even have a working prototype of their product, so why should these tokens be valued highly?

Not only in altcoins but investing in cryptocurrency is really risky as the market nowadays is in dip , red market continues until now. But I know it will be back to green days soon. It depends on what altcoin do you invest,There's some altcoin has good for investment like ethereum.Investing in ethereum is a good idea because Ethereum broke all records of bitcoin and is predicted that it will overtake bitcoin in the coming years. And thats why Ethereum will never come to an end and it will always be profitable.

Its depend. But that is right for people bought ALtcoin at high price and they stuck with that price. Altcoin price depends on BTC's price and as you see, BTC's price is too low and downed continuously day by day, following the decrease of Altcoin's price. Their altcoin had been declined its price by BTC's price and they got a "double loss" because, unfortunately, BTC's price also downed by USDT. However, I still believe in this market, currently, most of altcoin is at "bottom price" and its a great time for traders to buy with cheap price and of course, in the future, its price will be pumping strongly :d

If you make invest in long term let say in 2 or 3 years, in my opinion the risk is less because in the long term crypto market will be bigger and the market cap possible to go a billion dolar. All kind of investment is risky only different in level of the that risk. If you want to make big profit so you have to take also big risk.

Altcoins are very risky investment but if you know when to buy it at very low price altcoin investment is very rewarding compared to Bitcoin but the key for this is diversification. If you don't diversify your investment you will like lose it.
