The vast majority of the altcoins are either scams or copycats. Therefore I would say that many of them are overpriced even at current levels. There are a few genuine altcoins out there and many of them are under-valued.

The problem is that the volatility with altcoins are more than that with Bitcoin. When Bitcoin goes down by 10%, most of the alts go down by 25% to 30%. When Bitcoin goes up, the same can be noticed as well.

I think it is very risky to invest in altcoins now because there are so many projects that are conducting ICOs with the promise of enormous profit. But at the same time many of those are scam, so you have to be very careful.

I think it is a good time to buy some altcoins, when bitcoin drops, altcoins drop more but when bitcoin returns in uptrend they will grow more than bitcoin.

I dont think it is too risky because at the first place you have nothing on spending in it, and just earning it and selling it with a good price, maybe the risky part is the altcoins going its price lower or cheap.

Yes, altcoin is risky to invest in now because of the rate at which the market is dipping and it might still dip more, but it is also good sometime to take some risk for you to make profit. You can buy now and hold for as long as you can and when the price rise to a desired point that you are sure of reasonable profit, you can he sell because the price will rise when the market recover.

Not only in altcoins but investing in cryptocurrency is really risky as the market nowadays is in dip , red market continues until now. But I know it will be back to green days soon. Invest only to cyrpto which you think ypu can gain profit and make a good research or information about the cryptocurrency that you are planning to invest.

Altcoin and bitcoin are both at risk for investment, but it will give you a good return and even more than what you have invested, provided you follow the rules of investing, buy when the price is low, and if the low price holds your coin then sells it at that price higher. I think that's it.
