It will remain as 1:1 ratio nothing will change.

can take advantage if you are working with day trading, taking advantage of buying when crypto is falling then convert it back when

LOL. It is ridiculous to even think about USDT as an investment asset. If you want to invest in US Dollar, then you can do it directly by purchasing the banknotes. You can also invest in the US treasury bonds, which will give you an annual interest. There is no point in investing in USDT (which happens to be a token issued by the Bitfinex exchange) when these better options are available.

There are many good and safe Altcoins that you can choice for long term investment such as ETH, XRP, XLM, Link, and some of other coins in top 20 in Coinmarketcap. if you want to be sure that you will be not in loss near 12-18 months than you should invest in top-10 crypto according coinmarketcep list. everithing rest is high risk. noone own you.

what we can do is : First, analysis the project about the team, roadmap, community, etc. Then repeat it for some project as much as you can do. this analysis is aim to make an initial observation. Second, we should make a strong diversification of our investment in alternative coin to lower the risk. But in my opinion it does not always mean we should put all of our investment in top-10 crypto, though putting investment in top-10 crypto is good choice enough.

Every investment certainly has a considerable risk of loss as well as when we invest in crypto currencies such as bitcoin and altcoin, but at least we must be able to minimize the smallest possible loss in trading on the market or investing in crypto projects, before investing should be better. We do research as carefully as possible about what and how the future of the project or altcoin is so that we can find out how much chance we have to gain or lose if we invest in the project or altcoin, don't try to invest if we don't have enough knowledge because there are many people who experience losses in investing due to instinct or just following other people.

Not all coins are safe heavens for investors. Every coin has its merits. As for Alts in general, it depends which ones you go for an that time a which you purchase but in life there is no such thing as a safe investment.

In trading specially, there's no way your investment can be safe as market price fluctuations will push you into a corner. But for long term so Alts can be regarded as better investments than other. For instance ETH, ADA would be regarded as better investment than say XLM, though each coin to its own.

I normally do not take suggestions from cryptocurrency experts. Rather than i do my research before investing in ico/ieo/ido.

2017-18 ico was to be the worst to invest money. I am currently investing in Binance launchpad, as well as some exchange ieo. Because most of the project is legit.
