If you wanna get the safe investment in altcoin and what you should need to do to go to the major altcoins. I believe this will be giving you the safe place to be used as investment. It's not a recommeded thing to bet into the new altcoins. If you have bought some major investment when the correction was happening and i guess you have earned decent money from there.
Just stick to the major crypto if you didn't wanna get a risk.

It depends on which altcoin that you invest in, not all of them are safe to be invested in and otherwise. Indeed as you mentioned before nowadays many altcoin projects popped up time by time and most of them are become exit scam projects in the later days.

To minimize the risks it's better to invest in altcoin projects that already running for several years and have enough stabilized development on it.

In the past times like 2016-2017, there were a lot of projects that are being made and it's around thousands then only a few hundreds or even 2 digits that have remained to be intact and consistent. Whilst the most, they're gone.

just learn how to invest appropriately, wich mean you know when the right time to enter or exit the market,

It depends on your own personal definition of safe; but i believe that all investments are not safe but a risk worth doing. It all depends on how you conduct yourself with your investment and this ranges from your strategy, to your position about each token you invest upon; as well as the credibility report you have on a token (when to buy and invest; and also when to take profits). This little details define how safe an altcoin is for investment and it also applies to bitcoin.

If you want to reduce your risk level significantly then just stick with the top altcoins that already have market trust and positive reputation so i would suggest to pick your alts from max top 50 coins because the newer projects possess greater levels of risks and most of them do not perform as promised.

we can not eliminate the risk from any investments especially in cryptocurrency, but we can minimize the risk my friend
by cut our losses as soon as possible when the market going down,,
so, i suggest to you to invest only in TOP altcoins to reduce the risk of investments in altcoins

Sorry there is no way to do that since quite a lot of them are either pump and dump coins or they simply take away all your funds via scam, having said that, you can Invest in altcoins that have been in the market for some years now and whose network is good and constantly improving, like Ethereum for example; but if you want to make ROI from new projects and tokens and their hype, you'll most likely be falling into the same scam trap most of the time, remember to always DYOR first before investing in any cryptocurrecy.

I think you are talking about icos and new projects that are launching because there are so many established, low risk altcoins out there that are performing really well from last few months as far as new projects are concerned i have to agree that most of them do not deliver so we have to be very selective while investing.

There's no doubt that there's a higher risk involved investing in altcoin coupled with the fact that the success of the project is dicey, but not withstanding its important to know that investment in a successful altcoin could be much more lucrative and this goes with the fact that the higher the risk, the greater the reward.
