Sometimes we see When the BTC High then Alts move slightly. So, what's the correlation of Alts with BTC?

In Bitcoin rally yes they follow Bitcoin price, not all  but most of the altcoin increase in Bitcoin rally  the same thing happen before breaking ATH of Bitcoin just look at what happen on the top 100 altcoin after that . but in normal price increase they don't the same movement most often . It's only depend on the situation and also depend on what altcoin you own.

Only few alts can follow, most of them are in the top alts. If you can see in the coindesk alone, the charts of alts are following the trend of btc. That is, the top alts only. But most of them, will only follow the trend if they have strong development going on or has active use case. Otherwise, they can't follow the price movement of btc.

*it looks like we have discussed a topic that is almost similar to this, it's just that you are too lazy to search again...
when Bitcoin bullish will of course call many investors, these investors will definitely not only invest in Bitcoin but also other potential Altcoins. This is the main reason why when Bitcoin is bullish some Altcoins will bullish too.

If your are talking about alts/btc pairs then I do not see them performing anytime soon because they are high chances that bitcoin will turn parabolic in coming weeks but yes in terms of usdt or other stablecoins pairs we can expect the altcoins to do well that is why im also trying to revise my portfolio to take advantage of the situation.

Bitcoin is always the leader for altcoins because it bitcoin increase, altcoin will follow as well. But this new ATH of bitcoin, altcoins doesn't move too much. However, let's just wait because I think this bitcoin rally is not yet finish.

I think it is. Once an altcoin/s is paired with bitcoin in the market, then it will also increase it's value in your wallet even the price of those altcoin/s  is not moving up. As long as bitcoin is pumping , altcoins also does.

Indeed, usually when the price of bitcoin rises, then the altcoins begin to rise, and when the price of bitcoin falls, the price of altcoins also falls, but I myself have noticed cases when bitcoin grew in price and altcoins did not grow, and vice versa, there were cases when the price of bitcoin fell and the price of altcoins did not, so there are always different cases.

Although Bitcoin is now about 23,000 USD, other cryptocurrencies are still a long way from their high prices. If Bitcoin continues to maintain such an upward trend next year, I think the prices of other cryptocurrencies will rise to a considerable level. I think many people are optimistic about next year.

Most altcoins are still very far from their ATH, despite the fact that bitcoin is trading above its historical values. Altcoins need to grow 100-500% to reach their ATH, but it seems unrealistic to me for bitcoin dominance to fall so low, to ensure such growth.

Obviously the correlation is that almost all alts are being pair with btc, that's why all exchanges have btc/x altcoin. But as far as correlation, there is, but btc is now moving on its own and altcoin are not following. BTC reaches a new all time high, alts are still far from their ATH.

And if you look at the dominance, BTC taking over at 60%++, I remember in 2017 when everything is on a massive spike, bitcoin is ~50%. So if we can reduce bitcoin's dominance then probably we may see alts also moving very positive, but not right now.

IMHO, I believe not all altcoins will experiencing a rally in this Bullish market trend. As we notice only Ethereum, XRP and some other altcoins are experiencing some traction forward. Let us accept the reality that it's different now compared to the 2017-2018 Bullish market trend. Because today's market growth is considered organic and not artificially induce unlike before so we must continue to watch who knows if there's a twist in 2021.

I'm not quite sure what could be the correlation of the altcoin and bitcoin most of the people assumed that when the Bitcoin rallies the altcoin will rally too but I don't believe that well it's just my opinion or maybe they will rally after the crash of bitcoin?

No direct correlation if you ask me though others might say that one follows the other.

I am more of the opinion that altcoin rises are a artificial pump that sometimes follow bitcoin but do not sustain it. It would be easy to say that altcoins follow bitcoin but often they drop early than bitcoin.

Nonetheless, if you are holding altcoins sell them at the price rise and don't keep on holding them through a bull run. You might not see such prices again in future. So grab the opportunity while it exists

I think when the bitcoin price goes up significantly and the altcoin price goes down it's natural, most traders will sell the altcoins they have to bitcoin or stable coin to reduce the significant loss, and once the bitcoin price stabilizes the altcoins will do a slow recovery.

During a bull market, the cryptocurrency market saw Bitcoin experiencing a rapid uptrend first. Later, Altcoins followed suit, after BTC had surged to local peaks or all-time highs (ATH). But the current state of BTC has sucked in volume from the entire cryptocurrency market as it continues to strengthen. This caused the altcoin to take a hit, which led to increased selling pressure and reduced buying demand.

Most of the time it correlated but somehow this very moment of new ATH is different, I was following between BTC and eth for example, the last ATH of Bitcoin, eth was more than a thousand dollars but now it isn't. I was looking forward that it could more but it failed my expectations. Do be very careful of correlating Bitcoin with alts in prices.

When Bitcoin rallies, altcoins follow.

Eth is making its slow upward movement, other altcoins would do the same. I don't know what triggers it but maybe some people trade their Bitcoin into other altcoins the reason why they are making such movements. As long as the price of Bitcoin stay high up there, I think altcoins would be making this parade following Bitcoin.

Historically if Bitcoin pumps alts bleed. But, when Bitcoin is stable altcoin do pump so until Bitcoin pumps do not expect anything. Generally after Bitcoin bull run ends altcoin bull run do start, at the moment Bitcoin bull run has just started so wait till it ends.

Bitcoin is currently the representative of all cryptocurrencies in the world. The rise in increases the demand for other altcoins. If Bitcoin stays at these levels, trust in cryptocurrencies will increase.

Dominance is still very high and bitcoin is still very bullish, whales can't ignore that fact and head for altcoins, not until bitcoin bulls are done pumping, I believe it's not altcoins moment yet but as soon as bitcoin is done altcoins will starts their rally
