People who spread this kind of news want to manipulate the price and the importance of bitcoin even when the price increase they talk about the old price so in the last few months of the bitcoin in 2016 bitcoin was 1000$ so the price of the bitcoin increasing day by day so it is not going to dead ever the bitcoin going so high.

This is reason I think why other people say bitcoin is dead because if bitcoin price down they can chance to buy bitcoin with cheap price and for sure if that happen bitcoin will increase again so those people buy bitcoin they can earn a lot of profit. And I think those people say that they want to die bitcoin so they have possible that coin they have become new bitcoin or the king. I wonder what does OP think of his question right now!! I personally think Bitcoin is not a good payment option as it was promoted a few years back. You can't do micro transaction, fees are higher than fiat e-wallets and bank transfers and speed is slow. But what Bitcoin did was that it paved the way for better currencies to come up. Like Steem, which is instant, free to transact etc. In future users might use Bitcoins less for small transactions, but still it will keep its value as an investment, as a driving force behind the whole crypto world. With the governments declaring Bitcoin legal in many countries, it's not gonna die!

I don't think so. Once ethereum and bitcoin cash or any other alts have the same or at least half of btc's value then that's the only time I'm gonna believe that they really are a threat to btc. But right now, there's a zero chance for btc to be dead. Just look at the trends since segwit activation. Btc will only be dead if everyone pulls out and sell off their BTCs and the value went down to zero.
