Some people say bitcoin is like a bubble and it will burst one day.
Now current situation we can say its price is going down and down.
Is it true that bitcoin is like a bubble ?
Bitcoin is not a bubble. Prices of cryptocurrencies are going down but definitely it will go up again as this is one of the characteristic of bitcoin. Bubble if burst is gone but bitcoin when price goes down, there is still bitcoin. Grin

Well if people think that way then let them be. It can be considered a bubble and that bubble has popped. Several times in the past already. But with the support btc enjoys and the potential it presents, it will keep inflating itself after it pops
Yes exactly, once the price comes down and it takes a long time to recover, but once the price recovers then it crosses its previous high and then again losses value in a few weeks to months, now the bitcoin price is rising again and about to hit $10k so I think it will take only a few months to cross its previous all time high. And once bitcoin crosses all time high then it will only go upward to make a new all time high and there are many chances that it would not come back down in next few years.

Based on my research that I done for my paper in economics in school, what I found out is that there are two schools of thought. First is that Bitcoins or any cryptocurrency's fundamental value should be based on the cost of mining a unit of it. So this means you have to take into consideration the cost of the mining rig, the cost of electricity and other costs. If the current price is near that amount then it would mean it is not a bubble. The second school of thought is that the fundamental value is based on it's cash flow. Since bitcoins does not really have any form of cash flow then that means that they do not have any fundamental value.

Based on that, I would say that bitcoins should be based on the first school of thought. The second one is likely an old concept that should not be applied to something like bitcoins as it is quite new and unique which old concepts could not be applied to.

Many people compare what's happening with cryptocurrencies with what happened with the tulip mania back in the day, but the biggest difference is that cryptocurrencies actually have some use while tulips are completely useless, so cryptocurrencies themselves are not a bubble but the price at which they trade can create bubbles because of the uneven demand coming from the public.

yes it is the same, bubble conditions occur if the value of Bitcoin slumps along with other currencies with relatively equal numbers. Another factor in the decline in the value of Bitcoin is a change in investor preferences to buy cryptocurrencies of lesser value, such as Enthereum and Lite Coin.

It may be true, because the digital moneys are new for peoples and some people still don't want to believe it. And the price of Bitcoin is changeable a lot and it is the another reason for people's bad think.

Bitcoin has been referred to as a bubble for quite some time now. As the price rises drastically just like what happened last december where it reached a staggering 20,000$, people are quite skeptic that it will pop anytime soon. But that's bitcoin as it is very volatile.

The strengthening is driven by an increase in the interest of retail and institutional investors who view the digital currency as a means of payment for the future and the means of storing asset value. Such legitimacy makes bitcoin harmful to investors.

My opinion is that bitcoin is like a bubble, it can explode at any time but it is not so big that it has to explode, investing is always risky if you risk you can make a lot of money!

No I don't believe that bitcoin is like bubble that it will burst one day but rather I believe that bitcoin is simply Luke a roller coaster it will go down but it will go up immediately. So don't worry about what happen with bitcoin right now because it will not be the end but it is just part of the market.

Perhaps those who call bitcoin a financial bubble are right. But finally we will know the truth, when the value of the technology embedded in this asset will not be confirmed.

I don't think that Bitcoin looks like a bubble, because it's a very good crypto currency, which will soon be stable.
for me bitcoin is like a wave because its price will rise and fall and it will depend on the people who invested on it and wait for the tsunami wave in terms of the negative and positive effect that you will never regret and accept your loss or success rather.

It's almost certainly a bubble. I think cryptocurrencies that we have today should still belong to laboratory instead of being unleashed to free market. One of the proof cryptocurrencies are not ready yet, is the extremely fluctuating value that solely driven by “demand” and “potential”, instead of real-world implementation.

By looking how btc price is going up for the last 2 years i can say that it's really "a bubble and it will burst one day". Even if it's price is falling
It is not bubble at all. You should have look at the history of bitcoin and other famous rather successful coins of the crypto market. it is normal for them to dump and pump. bitcoin will soon increase in prices unexpectedly over the short time period.
