Presently, it is actually the opposite as BTC is gaining more attention from different sectors of society. Although some Governments are trying to criticize it, this still leads to publicity (good or bad publicity is still publicity), so it is even more popular now than it was yesterday.
Those people who thinks that the bitcoin losses it’s popularity, is the people those who have big loss and disappointed of bitcoin. Many investors are now selling their bitcoins because of many issues and fake news that affects the bitcoin popularity.

whether you are stressed with the current bitcoin price. which you need to know. bitcoin and altcoin have never had a stable price. so this is a normal thing if bitcoin price goes down. bitcoin is the most popular type of coin and it will never be replaced.

Bitcoin is still popular among cryptocurrency because all transaction in every alternate coins go through the blockchain in which they use bitcoin as part of their trade. Which in my thought that bitcoin is substancial and is highly demanded of all cryptocurrency as of today even with the drop of its price. Considering its volatility, bitcoin has been established in the digital world which makes it even harder to be dead or disappear like most coins do.
I think because of the bitcoin thats why all alt had dump. Bit coin does not loose the papularity cryptocurrency lives because of bitcoin i think if the bitcoin loose the papularity all alts will loose also.
Since some moment Bitcoin was trapped into the circle when it's price is the key for it's popularity and it's popularity is the key for it's price. Now this circle rolls back. I believe soon it will roll forward but one day it will stop and stay stable.

I don't agree with your opinion that bitcoin loses its popularity because to be honest, the negative news about bitcoin especially the issue about falling price made it popular because everyone who knows about bitcoin are shocked. Indeed, it is not stable and it keeps on fluctuating without us knowing if there's someone who's manipulating it. Some people who don't know about bitcoin believe keep on saying that it is "fake", "scam" or anything. I am still positive that the bitcoin price will recover soon. Why should it loses its popularity? maybe at the moment it looses some value. But loosing value isnt equal wit loosing popularity. Actually theres a huge dump. But after the dump when everything is going up, the popularity of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will be higher then anytime. So next time when bitcoin dumps so hard again, people will remember what happend in the last time and would startin invest!
In the first place btc was first before altcoins were created. Daily coins come and go in this place. There are so many coins that seems popular than btc. The unique development of the project was really impressive. Altcoins is always in the process of gaining power and names bloom to investors. But btc stay strong even altcoins looking to gain the domain btc stays remain in all altcoins. This mean that btc will never be cut its popularity than altcoins. The reality cannot be change even in the coming future bitcoin will remain.
