Bitcoin FTW!

Bitcoin is about as safe as your credit card x999 if you keep it safe. There are just so many ways to stop hacking that it's basically impossible to hack somebody's bitcoin. Of course if you're talking about price, bitcoin isn't safe at all. The price could go to a million per btc, or drop to pennies a bitcoin. It's your choice.

of course it safe for now,as lng bitcoin have not regulated by your goverment,i think its safe, and maybe sometime bitcoin will have a insurance, and its make you more feel safe and comfort.

That's true bitcoin is very safe at a moment, and we have not faced any issues related to bitcoins, as it is almost impossible to steal bitcoins from wallet or to hack the wallet.

Paper wallet is not safe too if the user will mistakenly lost it or get crumple. Smiley

Paper wallet doesnt mean that You are literally saving your bitcoin in a piece of paper , as long as you remember or save every passphrases, secret key and the address of the paper wallet then you can always access your bitcoin . Paper wallet is just another form of cold wallet , much more conventional than usual cold wallet and much more secure of course

I think it is. Many people use it very much. I hope more people will use it in the future and some companies too.
The online wallets are very secure too. And that is very good. I hope the value will rise later in the future.
Companies are not going to join and invest in bitcoin, if bitcoin is not so safe. they need proof?
Do you think What proof that bitcoin is safe?
I think number of users of bitcoin already proved that bitcoin is very safe

In the most cases its the user's fault, they do not secure it good or do not know how the system is working, I think a paper wallet is the safest way to protect your bitcoins.
Its of course only if you have large amounts of bitcoins if you got low amounts you can just use a online wallet because you are no target.

The point of bitcoin security by users is to help all the given option to make it secure.

For example, someone told you paper wallet is safe, then literally make it as more secure by taking care of it.

Same goes to other safe option.

I think bitcoin is not safe enough as the place to keep all of your assets. There's a possibility of hacking. We save bitcoin online so hackers can do hack to steal your bitcoins.
Have you heard about offline computers? Erm desktop wallets with no internet connection? Only thing you need to 'claim' all of your bitcoins is the private key. Don't even get me started on Paper wallets. You're missing on a lot if you think bitcoin can be easily hacked, its usually users' fault when their bitcoin wallet is hacked. Now human stupidity is one thing that you can't manage to decrease

Basically and in generally, yes.

After all the security of your bitcoins can only be managed and improve with your own way of security.

Some of the lost bitcoin cases are really a user's fault.

Of course bitcoins is the safest it's anonymous but it is not totally anonymous because your transactions are saved forever in network anyone can see your bitcoin balance and transactions of any bitcoin address. but bitcoins are the safest.

Well it is safe indeed but keep in mind that if you keep everything in one wallet and you get hacked, you're finished! Wink

Bitcoin is one of the safest methods their is available this moment.
You only need multiple wallets and a good secured wallet with 3 way auth so you won't get hacked.

That is safe. Ofcourse it is really safe. Many people use it from other countries and some companies use it too.
I hope later that it will be more worth. And the online wallets are very secure too. But I think there is a minimum chance to be hacked.

A government might build enough miners to control it, a security failure might be found etc...
There is no need for them to do all that as we now have multiple types of bitcoin within 6 years of its release. It might collapse or it might not but wont get to the mainstream and anything else will not be hurting them.

My perspective is that you shouldn't put all of your assets in Bitcoin.  For one thing, we don't know for sure if it will gain value.  Secondly, there's always a chance that any bitcoins you have on an exchange or digital wallet will get hacked and there's ca change that you can lose private keys for paper wallets.  So it's not completely safe.

Well we're pretty sure it'll gin value but it might get destroyed. A government might build enough miners to control it, a security failure might be found etc...
