Still the governing bodies did't gave a notifications and had banned institutions/banks from participating in trade involving crypto. We all know crypto is still in its early phase,we have came only 10 years after bitcoin first came into existence so there is still a long way to go.Though p2p trades are being carried out and it will be like that only until any notifications or regulations comes around. Many countries have already adapted to crypto and are very crypto friendly nation supporting blockchain technology. The only problem lies here is mass adoption, once the mass adoption starts things are definitely going to change for good.Still it is considered as mere asset.
Not really "many" though most of the country that are crypto friendly toward bitcoin is either a well developed country that has advanced its technology into its peak of the time being or a country that can't rely too much to its local traditional currency resulting the citizen to forcefully moving into a better option of wealth saving.

In my country is almost everything legal if you pay taxes  Grin. I do not understand why many goverments are so negative about crypto, they should allow crypto trading or using and they should start collecting taxes from it because they can earn a lot by collecting taxes from crypto profits.

depends on which aspects, there's no regulation against crypto per se, but there's clear guidelines and rules to mitigate the illegal use of crypto in aspects such as money laundering...

I cannot really say because there has not been any official announcement on the ban of crypto by the government. In the mean time there are crypto based traders that are established in this country that trade in crptocurrencies and fiat currency. The two established crypto trading platforms in Ghana and they are Cofred and Ecurrency4u.

I’m a Russian citizen, and, strangely enough, there are no restrictions on cryptocurrencies and ICO in my country. Apparently, the government hasn’t got to this question yet.

In my country, cryptocurrency and participation in ICO is not prohibited by law. But I try not to advertise it. If possible, I avoid sending personal data, etc. Unknown what will happen in the future

I'm from Kazakhstan. We have an unclear situation with cryptocurrency now, as well as in many other countries.
It is not legalized and at the same time it is not considered illegal. At the moment it is neither here nor there.
I think, our country has not yet decided whether it needs it or not.

First, my country allows to participate in ICOs, but cryptocurrency is not accepted officially. The only country that has rigid rules as for participating in ICOs is the USA. And as the SEC control strictly this process with startup, so the KYC is one of the mechanisms to control the process.

I came from Vietnam and my country banned bitcoin earlier this year. But I can still participate in ICO projects. Currently, in my country, ICO projects are developing very well. There are many potential ICO projects coming from Vietnam and attracting many investors.
