In trading crypto .we must ready for loss or profit, because cryptocyrrency is not game, but cryptocurrency is asset, where you not ready for risk. Better than you dont play crypto

I think it could be considered an addiction especially if people are putting a lot of money into without looking into why the value can descries or increase (very similar to gambling).

Regardless it is isn't nice and I hope it doesn't happen again.

I heard about a guy in Moscow, who jumped out of the window, because he lost all his money in crypto investments and trading. So, do we have a new free heroin here? Is it possible to get addicted to crypto?

Yes, crypto is addictive, I know coz I'm addicted. My strategy is break up my day into crypto time slots, and crypto free ones. I only trade with 20% of my stack, so even if I lost it all, I still have 80% accumulating in cold wallets, so no need to jump out a window.

It is a big addiction but I have to tell you I'm coming from stock exchange and forex trading background and they are not so different from crypto trading. So if we generalize it, investing is addictive.

Definitely not addiction, we are just trying to make a living out if crypto currencies. Maybe what happened to the misfortunate guy who jumped outof the building is lack of hope and could not accept failure. It is just normal to lose sometime in crypto, it is inevitable.

If you like trading then it addict you anyway. The question is how strong you are. Are cold blooded guy or just a slave of money and your desires. It is important to be rational and do reasonable business.

in my opinion yes. because if we know to do trading requires analysis, business, and high finance. so naturally people will feel stressed and not a few also commit suicide. my advice try to focus one trading that we are sure and will profit, so planning is more mature

Well, everything can be addictive of course. If you approach it like gambling and you happen to have an addictive personality, well, yeah, it can form an addiction.

Yes, hopefully I'm not that type of a person. But I know some guys who can't leave without trading. Also some of them has a huge debts but still can't stop trading. So watch out guys, don't fell in that trap.

Yes! One can be addicted into crypto trading, and addiction is the need or strong desire to do or to have something(money, properties etc ), or a very strong liking for something(money). In addition, trading in the financial markets is stimulating, exciting and engrossing. But one can become addicted, just like with actual casino gambling or illegal drugs. Like any severe addiction, this can cost you your job, relationships and, financial resources.

Finally, trading crypto can give you a kick and a rush, and blot out reality, just like illegal drugs. If there is an innate psychological tendency toward compulsion and addiction, the initially harmless (cheap) thrills can turn into an obsessive desire to repeat and prolong the pleasure. However, just as heroin addicts reputedly spend most of their junkie careers chasing unsuccessfully after the incredible high of the first shot, so too it is with trading addicts.

I think that the guy already had some depression and that's why after getting a loss in crypto trading,he might have come to such decision. Some might get addicted to trading and may sit in front of the laptop 24 hours. But we must try to control our emotions and not to get excited on getting huge profits as well as not to become sad on facing losses.

All exist under the law of trading.... All we do is like trading. Imagine being an employee, we are trading our time and energy in exchange of the money. The same thing with our businessmen selling stuffs, we are all trading this.  So trading is a good things provided that you are trading a certain company that you share same core value.  Trading in crypto is very good as long you knew you understand it and your trading on those you believe in. So if being addictive in trading for a better, why not? but if the effect is bad then stop doing it.

I don't think it's the trading in itself that is addicting. Maybe it's the hunger for money Smiley
Would people trade and care this much if bitcoin was worthless and didnt have value?

No. We do not have even a very small amount of heroin here in Bitcoin because addiction may be brought or just a result of greediness or too much usage of it which may be brought out a negative effect on our brains that let us do such thing like getting into a suicide because of depression or most likely to be said frustration of losing our wealth we have already gained and that great loss triggered a negative thinking to our mind. So better use crypto moderately and in right thing to avoid such thing as killing yourself.

Crypto trading is really addicting when you are gaining more than you actually expect you are going to gain. The feeling of getting the ROI is so addicting. But if you are losing too much because of bad decisions and timing then you are going to have a hard time regretting everything that you did and risked.

Trading crypto become a hobby to me. Charts looks boring but now I enjoy reading and analyzing it. The guy in the news committed suicide due to huge debt and great loss in trading. Thats why stay away from margin trading. Trade only what you can afford to loss.

I heard about a guy in Moscow, who jumped out of the window, because he lost all his money in crypto investments and trading. So, do we have a new free heroin here? Is it possible to get addicted to crypto?
