It is NOT a scam. Why would a guy who owns a $50 million company put it all at risk to scam people with a cryptocurrency? Not going to happen at all; this is legitimate.
Playing Devil's Advocate here, but "that guy" is majorly in debt over there in the UK. Look up his other projects.
That being said, I'm invested in the ICO - I don't think it's a flat-out scam at all.

Where is the marketing? I doxed the dev team, which wasn't too hard when they post all their LinkedIn. They are big players in the internet marketing industry in England. They can do it for free!?! I even looked up the coins head guy Richard Ells and called his headquarters. I asked the secretary about Electroneum? I was transfered to a guy that asked me how he could help me with my questions. So I asked, "why aren't you marketing this ICO?". He said, "they are and more is coming." Do you see any marketing? WTF.

Electroneum is legitimate. It is not a scam. We checked its proposal and I think, they are transparent with their aim. My husband invested in this ICO. I am looking forward to its success. The ICO starts in 3 days!!

personally, i think it is one the best ico's it is simple inovative and a lot of people love it.i am really looking what the britishteam will do with Electroneum after the ico is over.

Personally have invested in this ICO and am very looking forward to potential awards, but we need to be careful not to use the word 'mooning'. For example everyone thought Kyber would make them a fortune, look at it now... It's worth noting this is an inflationary coin, its going to take a long time to mature in price and for mass adoption. Realistically we are looking at a 0.15 exchange price. I for one am going to hold this for atleast a year. However if it hits 1$ I will sell

I checked out the tech paper and the "mining" is a mining experience. That means, everyone that runs the miner on their phones as a background process will get Elecotroneum from now and then. It will not be power consuming. The Windows/Linux/Mac version of the miner do use the CPU for mining. It is not proditable to mine with a GPU. That way ordinary people like you and me can mine at our home/office. I think that will be success factor of this project. They are also busy working with huge gaming companies to use Electroneum as in-game money.
Seems a legitimate ICO, however I did not invest as only 30% of tokens were for the ICO and the other 70% was to go in the blockchain to be mined. Devs not taking any tokens?
No! electroneum is a legitimate ICO. Many investor invest in this ICO and there are a lot of proof that electroneum is legitimate.
The technology behind this mobile mining is really great if they develop means it is going to be the great achievement because nowadays most of the people are using the Android phones so everyone will have an access to this mining.

Not to be biased about this question as I am part of Electroneum campaign. I want to just state the fact that it is NOT a SCAM, I don't know why it is questioned like this but to educate the readers of this subject. Electroneum can't be questioned like this, as it offers transparency. In terms of its technical aspects, Electroneum blockchain source code publicly available for scrutiny and the stats are shown live and can be easily access using your mobile phones. So what is there to hide for Electroneum now? It just really comes with proper education for you to not be scammed.

Upon checking their ICO promotion like here in the forum , there were no updates for those who wanted to participate their bounty campaigns. I guess their just focused on advertising and not by bounty pools advertisement through campaigns. Maybe many bounty hunters were losing hope for their campaigns because there is no serious motivations coming form the campaigns teams of bitcointalk.

As I have posted here before, I think this is a good technology and an active developing team inspires confidence that they really want to see electroneum come to life
I'm on it since day one, and so far I've noticed that their devs and marketing guy are pretty active. Plus marketing guy is a known name too.
