I'm a newcomer in crypto, and after researching here and there, I finally decide this project to be my very first ICO. I hope it does not dissapoint

this project may be ambitious but that doesn't mean they will be successful. with the real business, people and marketing behind it, it seem unlikely to be a scam. although it is difficult to tell these days. i think it's a good bet it's legit, the question being how successfull can it be.

it's good to see that they will have an actual product available after launch, and with the marketing maybe they will bring many non-crypto people into the mix, which is good for everyone. i'm considering buying some today, since i've never invested in an ico and have missed out on all these gains i hear from others. i think the people stating 10x are way too optimistic, and 100x are unrealistic, but possibly 2-3x seems reasonable. if this can maintain its .01c (~240 satoshi) directly after launch then gains would be reasonable as more people come into it. i like the fact that only about half a billion are sold out of 6 billion, and we could assume it will get closer to a billion before the sale is over, so maybe 5 billion would be available to the mobile miners. the whitepaper says they will try to maintain a $30/month reward for the mobile miners by using those unsold funds to boost the rewards to that level, which is an interesting approach. that's about 100 mined per day per mobile user, so you can see how the unsold supply may get used up more quicky as more users join. this method of release is like an airdrop with any user with a phone able to do it. i will be telling my family and friends to try it as a way of getting them into crypto, also the promise of free money sells itself.

so the question for investors would be can it maintain the ico price following launch, which in this ico craze has happened enough; will it be less than successful and drop to some fraction of its value initially, which is possible, and maybe later gain; or can it become virally popular and generate a lot of interest therefore a price increase. i like the project and will probably invest some and hope for the success. good luck

I joined their signature campaign and i guess they have a good foundation for their project.  We just have to wait and see if its really a scam or not.  Still everything is always at risk.  We just believe in our instinct (not always)  and everything is just going to be fine.

From my research and what ive been seeing around, it looks like electroneum may be the next cryptsy. they will eventually exit scam and it will be gone. go and try to talk to the devs, you cannot even get a response

That is just nonsense. Utter nonsense. It is not a gimmick and it doesn't distribute coins per block based on the user's holdings. Please read the whitepapers instead of spreading false information.

It does introduce A LOT of new people to cryptocurrency increasing the markets demand for other cryptos, using ETN as an entry point, among other things.

Why the **** would a guy who has a $50 million company even contemplate about risking it all for a crypto? It doesn't make ANY sense and you know it.

It just blows me away that this guy can make so much money over a gimmick. A premine and some code that distributes coins per block based on user's holdings.. reminds me of hodlcoin's block interest.

This coin does NOTHING to further crypto currency. It has zero innovation and its just here to suck $$ from its investors.

I agree as well, team are big hitters across blue chip companies, are registered as a business and have corporate governance, research how many crypto coins have that (tip: the majority do not). They have to publish their accounts and every bit of investment has to be accounted for.

Adverts are live in London, offices have a team with full time jobs, so far away from a scam that there gets.

Yes there is a lot of people trying to scam using ICOs but one need to look deep into the coin to make it clear whether you want to invest. Looking into Electroneum, i see a very solid investment that is NOT a scam!

too many people trying to scam by using ICO. its so sad that so many ico are a scam and make people who want to invest become afraid to invest in and even lost profit cause of scam.
