I've read a lot about it the last days and I'm pretty convinced it is not a scam. It has some dedicated people behind it, they always answer here on the forum. I even decided to invest a little bit in it to see if things work out. For people thhat think it's a scam, I suggest doing your own research. And if you're like me and decide to invest, follow the golden rule and invest what you can afford to lose. It may be a huge succes, it may become just another low value coin, but I'm betting on it.
Well I've bought about $800 worth for myself and $275 worth for my coworkers and I'm going to buy more. In app contacts list, phone to phone transfer, an unhackable paper wallet, mobile simulated mining (that does not eat up your data but still gives you coins) and a game that actually gives you coins. I think Electroneum is a pretty good coin and has a pretty promising prospect, so it would be great if the altcoin with such potential as a scam. Of course Electroneum is not a scam.
It does not look like a scam, given the fact that there' so many positive replies about it. But you never know what people are up to.

Why would people come in this thread and say its a scam, do they really mean that they think it won't take off and they don't want to risk it, that's fine but don't just say it's a scam without checking out the team and what they are trying to achieve. It's all about risk and trust in the developers, some are willing to do that some not.

From my research and what ive been seeing around, it looks like electroneum may be the next cryptsy. they will eventually exit scam and it will be gone. go and try to talk to the devs, you cannot even get a response

Where is the marketing? I doxed the dev team, which wasn't too hard when they post all their LinkedIn. They are big players in the internet marketing industry in England. They can do it for free!?! I even looked up the coins head guy Richard Ells and called his headquarters. I asked the secretary about Electroneum? I was transfered to a guy that asked me how he could help me with my questions. So I asked, "why aren't you marketing this ICO?". He said, "they are and more is coming." Do you see any marketing? WTF.

Dude, I'm glad you came to your senses. I've seen Electroneum ads on crypto sites and on my facebook feed for what seems like weeks now. They are definitely marketing the coin effectively. I have a lot of faith in this coin. If for some reason the coin somehow fails (which I don't think it will), it definitely won't be because of marketing. The ICO starts in 3 days!!

I feel the community is great. The owner already has a defined company and they started ico after when they have an app on play store, we see that very rarely nowadays. The project is good and we can see that by seeing the investment they're getting. More than 14k ethereum raised already. Eth+BTC.
