No it isn't. When it first came out I really had doubts as if it was scam cause we had lot less altcoins and ethereum was hyped so much. Now I see that ethereum was no joke and its great project.

No way! however if it is then fair play to them they have managed to dupe a number of governments and massive industry leaders. Etherium is such a sound platform for smart contracts that it is pretty much self functioning now.
