Secure or not an ico project is depend how we can know detail is good or not ico project for investment, like we can find good ico with have higher ico rating and sold out their token by investor, we can follow how investor invest their money on ico, they have know which ne secure and best ico.
Nothing is secure on CRYPTO world but some ICO can make you rich only if you can make a good research about the ICO you wish to invest to see if truly, the project and the team are legit.

ICOs are not so secure. Not anymore. There are too many scams all over the place now, and it has been a burden to a lot of persons as this is quite challenging and puts everyone on their feets. People need to be more careful about their investments in ICOs so they don't fall for scams nowadays, and this is bad for the market.
There are many good ICO which can give profit in long term. But you should read a lot of information about it and make your own research and only after that make a decision about taking part.

not all ico is fraud, many new ico are also recommended, for example rock, the ico has been successful and the coins yesterday got up to the moon, until it passed during the campaign 
There is no way to tell if icos are secure. Reasons being that there are just as much good ones as there are bad ones but they are just like any other cryptocurrencies, in the end it is the creators of the coin which decide if the coin will be good enough or not. If you are investing in icos, just be careful and make sure that you do not put too much money at a time in them.
