As altcoins price follow the Bitcoin price then Bitcoin can lift, suppress and depress alts. Currently, the price of Btc is dropping then alts also is depressing.

Bitcoin price is constantly dropping for the last several days. What effects are putting it on Altcoins ? Is it bad or good ?

well not only btc but the whole market is suffering in red days rather. it is much safer to convert it on usdt or tether for you to dodge the losses in the market. perfect timing is the key specially in entry.

Isn't it obvious?! While you are still thinking any coin/token can just overtake $BTC overnight, ask yourself again what the effect of the fall in price of $BTC is on altcoins! I have said it repeatedly that #Blockchain based payment solutions can not survive without $Bitcoin, and someone argued! If $Bitcoin fails, people will lose trust in the crypto economy, cast aspersions on the technology and other coins as a whole! When $Bitcoin price falls, it cascades to the price of Alts, its $Bitcoin alone, then others called "Altcoins" so the crypto economy has only two coins; $Bitcoin and Altcoins!

Of course this is very bad for altcoins. Because the price of all altcoins depends on Bitcoin. So if Bitcoin's price is dump, then the price of altcoins will be dump very badly than Bitcoin.

When bitcoin bump or dump that is when we see how fickle the price of major altcoin are and indeed many altcoin in general! Bitcoin is definitely the lifeblood of cryptocurrency in general.
because bitcoin is also a benchmark price for altcoins, so if bitcoin carries out price increases surely altcoin will also follow bitcoin, because bitcoin has a big impact on altcoins until whenever

Yes, exactly bitcoin has a huge impact on the crypto market. If bitcoin has losses its value then all the altcoins has too. So it might be not good for the altcoins when the bitcoin is dropping.

on the one hand, yes, the Altcoins have sunk and most likely still sinking, but the more bitcoin has fallen the more he will shoot, and we will not even have time to blink as he peaks his tops

There are two factor on that when bitcoin fall.
1. BTC price fall and it will affect the price of alts in the market in terms of USD value.
mostly, Alts are connected with BTC value, therefore the USD value is related.

2. There is no effect, as long as we will set aside the USD value of crypto.
If we will just take a look on BTC value, this will see the demand and stability of the token.

Yes it does. It is a very obvious fact that every time bitcoin price is falling altcoin prices are also falling but when the market is up even ICO coins are also benefitting from it. Well, everyone still believes that the market will be up again before 2018 ends.

I think it's yes that bad for altcoins if bitcoin will crash because they just rely on bitcoin price for the first place, that's why we are all hoping for the another bitcoin bull run in order that our altcoins holdings will also pump.

all of the coins are connected in a way. If Bitcoin is falling it will have effect on altcoins. There is not such thing as good or bad. It's all about making profit, and tat you can do despite if it's a fall or a run.

Bitcoin is the king of the crypto world when bitcoin become weeks by falling price the reaction goes to altcoin. Altcoin price going down while bitcoin price going down so it clearly means altcoin's price depends on bitcoin price. So it is not pleasant of altcoin market while BTC falling down in the market.

I think whenever BTC drops, it definitely affects Altcoins and that is also a bad signal to the entire cryptocurrency market.
Whole market will follow bitcoin because bitcoin determines the price for all of altcoins. It has a very strong correlation to the altcoin. When altcoin gets down and that will give any significant impact caused by altcoin can'f affect the bitcoin. altcoins pegged with bitcoin and that's the point.

When the market is in a bad or unstable situation, it affects all the coins, the entire cryptocurrency. Bitcoin is one of the coins that affects too much and so that the next will drop is altcoins, but don't worry this situation is temporarily, time will come the market will recover and the price will increase soon.

Bitcoin still has a big impact on altcoins, with bitcoin falling, many cryptocurrencies repeat a fall behind it. While bitcoin will remain the dominant asset in the cryptocurrency market, this situation will not be changed.

Bitcoin is decreasing to affect all Altcoin because this is like being connected. And when the Bitcoin price falls, investors will drop, causing prices to fall. But this is something that is needed in trade because if prices do not go up or not go down, profit will be very difficult.

Bitcoin price is constantly dropping for the last several days. What effects are putting it on Altcoins ? Is it bad or good ?
It will affect Altcoins in the short term as Bitcoin tends to push general market sentiment in whatever direction it is travelling. Eventually Altcoins will start to trade more on their own merits as Bitcoin gradually becomes less important. If you believe as I do that Bitcoin is incapable of evolving beyond being a form of digital gold that works as a store of value but is very poor at transactions then you will realise that for Altcoins to supplant Bitcoin they will need to be able to swim against the Bitcoin tide.

As long as Bitcoin is still in the king's position, the altcoin will be affected by Bitcoin! This effect will continue and will not decrease!

Yes of course, altcoins are being connected somehow to bitcoin and to prove that all altcoins will move its market price if bitcoin does also. Thus, altcoins market price could be determine by bitcoin market price movement. However, it could also move on its own depending on the community that supported it and make a lots of demand for that crypto.
