I'm a professional cryptocurrency trader; I'm working in cryptocurrency around 3 years. I'm always observing cryptocurrency market. If bitcoin pump on the same time some coin price is growing with bitcoin but if you think most of the coin is growing with bitcoin so your thinking is not perfect because when BTC price is pump on that time some coin stay as a same price but without btc pump lots of coin pumping. It is not a bad effect for altcoin market.

That's right, when bitcoin grows, some of the altcoins stand still, and vice versa, when the altcoins grow, bitcoin grows slowly or stays in place.

In some other ways, because Bitcoin is the King of All Coins, it affects other coins.Though there are some instances wherein, it didn't affect other altcoins at all.

I agree that bitcoin sets the direction of movement of other coins.Unfortunately, we are now in a clear lateral movement and there is no clear growth. Therefore, talk about the growth of altcoins is not worth it.

BTC is the dominant force in this market, and its strength can definitely determine the direction of Altcoin. I think this will continue until the price of BTC stabilizes.

Bitcoin price is constantly dropping for the last several days. What effects are putting it on Altcoins ? Is it bad or good ?
On some alts especially those that are dependent with Bitcoin, would negatively affected by the sudden downfall on the price of Bitcoin. The majority of the market cryptos are on downtrend because there are cryptos which are dependent with one another and is something like domino effect. But what we should look forward with is the probability of the market to recover. For now, be patient with the market behavior.

It can not be denied that BTC rates have a huge impact on altcoins in the cryptocurrency market. So if the BTC rate falls, the altcoins will naturally decrease. But the prospect of a big BTC rate will rebind to $ 20,000 as of the end of 2017, and market cap will soon return to the $ 300 billion.
the advantage would be very capable of being much the ability to continue to grow. In addition to this Bitcoin always compete with Altcoin. in the circumstances the Bitcoin drop, Altcoin has a chance to overtake Bitcoin, so be a good opportunity for the advancement of Altcoin.

The decline in bitcoin is devastating for the altcoin, and the altcoin is very fragile and can easily cause a lot of panic selling. This may be a good thing, quickly let some garbage disappear.

Most of the time, it is bad for the price of Altcoins, as you probably guessed. But there are exceptions of course, but hard to predict which one will be.

Yes,  it is bad for altcoins that bitcoin is falling. Imagine,  bitcoin is the number 1 cryptocurrency,  if bitcoin is falling it means other coins will be affected. The confidence of investors is based on majors coins. Major coins are the basis of the market as good or bad days.
Yeah, also just like an Empire with a failing King everything would be affected. Can't deny that most of us do holds our most of money with Bitcoin since it is the rank 1 with the highest price now, Example on Trading or buying some altcoins no one will buy using bitcoin or ethereum when the price is on downtrend. Bitcoin is the basis of the altcoins, Drop is to Drop, Rise is to rise.

Of course it is bad because when bitcoin price falls, there is a certain reply of market fall also in the other coins and tokens. I think in my opinion, it is because all of the coins and tokens, refer their value to btc so when bitcoin value falls, then so as their coins and tokens.

Bad for some altcoins and few for the rest.

If you noticed, when bitcoin is dropping the rest of the altcoin market is also dropping. But not all of them, few are surviving and fighting the wave of that trend which results them to move up in price while bitcoin is going low. There's a connection to all altcoins and for bitcoin so there's always an opposite and domino effect.

Bitcoin value dropping affecting greatly when it comes to the price of altcoin to usd for all those altcoins and sadly people aoways judge a coin based on its price to dollar so I can see why this value dropping could fundamentally or emotionally to altcoin market

I think it's a pretty difficult question, because there are no clear indications why the altcoins go down or up because in theory most alts are linked to BTC or ETH directly or indirectly, since they usually have to be exchanged for these currencies first to exchange them for FIAT, so we could say that a drop in ETH or BTC would cause a drop in the altcoins, and many times that does not happen, which leaves me a little confused.

Bitcoin price drop have a big effect in altcoin. Since Bitcoin is the king of all cryptocurrency it is also the baseline of its value that is why everytime there is a significant drop in Bitcoin, altcoin value is also dropping.
