The answer is obvious if you are looking at the chart whenever Bitcoin price crash all the coins follows, so it is bad for altcoins if Bitcoin is dropping even if the coin is good and with good community support, everything depends on Bitcoin strength.

If the price of bitcoin dropped automatically the price of altcoins drop too, as we see now bitcoin price is very low and as an affect all the market is red. 
Bitcoin has a very determinative role in the cryptocurrency market. It can actualy move the whole market, Altcoin prices depend a lot on Bitcoin's.

Over the years, we have seen the sentiments with bitcoin and altcoin and how a lot of people perceive altcoins as distractions and a way in which some whales are just using it to feed on gullible weak hands in the market to increase their bitcoin stash. Apart from this, most of the altcoin market is tied to bitcoin as a trading pair and obviously any serious move in bitcoin either downward or upward can always affect the movement of altcoins. As long as BTC breaks certain psychological supports, it is normal to see the altcoins take the same shape.

I think it is bad because every altcoin depends on Bitcoin's price. They follow it. Besides of bears and panicking people that's why the market is red now.

All coins are affected when BTC Is dropping in market because as far as I know this is the one they bases for in terms of increasing price.In this several days it was nothing to say but just waiting for the comeback.

It is not always the case but most of the time bitcoin price affects alts price in positive way , when it is up, and negative way, when it is down.
But sometimes altcoin's price goes up even when bitcoin goes down. It means something specific happened, some news released or changes are made.

when we talk about the altcoin; the first one come to our mind is the bitcoin, which makes him the brain of crypto money and I think it's quite normal to have pain all over body when the brain is affected and I find this as an advantage for the BTC but a bad thing for other altcoin who will always be dependent on BTC price.
Altcoins can't go unaffected when btc drops i don't think it has ever happen whereby btc will dip and altcoins are increasing so the effect of btc dip is always negative on altcoins

In my opinion if btc is dropping alts will drop more than btc. Because coins which have bigger marketcap can be more stable than lower market cap coins.
You can expect huge dump for altcoins if you are seeing huge dump for btc. Because btc is the biggest coin in crypto space and btc determining the market situation.
BTC dropping is not so good to the other altcoins because their price are highly depend on the value of BTC
Yes I know that but thanks for the information, except Etherium is a independent coin is not depend in demand of btc.
For me it's bad if btc dropping cause it affects the price of altcoins and to investors also and other holders of altcoin everyone's wanted the price goes up and make profits but if btc dropping all profits are slowly gone so it really bad if btc dropping.

Bitcoin has a huge share in cryptocurrency and it has a big impact to all altcoins if bitcoin continously dropping most of the investors are afraid also to invest in alts because all altcoins depends only in bitcoins value.I think its bad.

Bitcoin has a lot of domination when the price down and others will be following it as an impact. These altcoins holders are feeling panic when they are seeing the price of Bitcoin decreasing a lot. They are converting their altcoin to the bitcoin instantly and they are taking a short-term consideration with a speculation if they can buy it again at the bottom price.

Yes you are right because people's thought is if BTC rises then altcoins too will rock if BTC drops then altcoin too will drop the value. As most of the people's have scared after the market is very bad now. People have different intentions, but look at ripple effect last month. People need to trust on this everyone has a turn wait for it.
