I would invest the money into something instead of just sitting around and waiting for the money to get corroded due to old age. Bitcoin may not be a wise choice to invest in the near future because the price of it will be much too high for people to actually make money from it.

Investing in exchange sites like in poloniex seems like a good idea. Because poloniex and other exchange sites are starting to develop into large companies. That is right combining those two is the best thing to do when we are facing about managing our money. I think gold investment is very profitable because the selling price is always increasing every year, while keeping it in the long term is very unfavorable.But gold is a good long term investment unlike bitcoin which is a short term investment, it means that with such a short time, bitcoin can give you a profit quickly, the price is unpredictable making it a good short term investment. In gold, the price is a little bit stable and it is hard to invest there if you want a fast profit. Bitclin may have a good and fast price increase, gold still is stable, so it is in the people's choice what they want.

You are right but you also have to think that only those people can invest who have money enough to invest them and if any one will not have money to invest and he will hardly earn some money for their living and will hardly get some extra money which will not be enough for saving then he will have to save them for future use or for investment in the future.

And also if you were not able to sell your bitcoins at higher amount, you don't have to rush and just be calm and save or invest it to somewhere which is legit and possibly going to give you a good amount of return. And in today's happening, the price seems to be increasing so the best thing to do is maximize your investment while having some saved money.

For me gold is not a profitable investment because the price of gold is increase or decrease take more time and I think bitcoin is the best way to invest money because the price of bitcoin increasing do not take more time and I also efforts that I will invest some money in bitcoin.
Bitcoin when it comes to pure profits in terms of percentages wipes the floor with gold, but not everyone realises that. Especially not when it comes to the average person that doesn't know what Bitcoin is and how it works. Gold for them is a safe haven asset that they can jump into in times of economical difficulties. Some even consistently pile up gold as they believe that the US dollar will collapse in the future. Different people means different motives.
