To avoid scams is a difficult thing, but we can minimize the chance to be scammed. Scammers are getting smarter, they make their projects look promising. So, we are a bit hard to differentiate between real projects and fake projects. However, there should be a way to know the fake projects. By learning the projects in detail, we can check some indicators to ensure whether it is a real one, not.

We can't really avoid seeing scam projects but that's right, you can minimize or avoid yourself by being scammed.
I guess, a lot of us at one point has been screwed by a project. Even if they are not scam, either they are not successful with their goals or they just stop the project.
So venturing into new projects is really a high risk. But if you want a better assurance, you can always look at the established coins with active application.
If by chance, you happen to encounter a new project using fake profiles. That is definitely a red flag in my opinion. Better stay away from this project.

Currently there are too many scam projects, even they are officially registered on coinmarketcap to exchanges such as Pancake Swap, of course it is difficult for us to avoid all scam projects and I have often been scammed from new projects, usually they pump high and then they slowly sell the coins or tokens they get have and immediately leave when it is no longer valuable.
It is true that many projects are currently scams and are quite difficult to distinguish from other projects that have good value, because they have the same concept and work pattern, even though there are so many scam projects that have been registered on coinmarketcap, but we can't tell the difference, so be careful if we are involved in any project for now, at least we need to pay attention clearly before participating.

the best way to stay away from scam is to invest only on BTC and ethereum. you can also choose the first 100 tokens on popular major crypto websites. that is the only way to stay off scam tokens. apart from that, the market is fill shit tokens waiting for your money. over 70% of the crypto market Is saturated with scam tokens. always do your research before investing.

Actually, there are a lot of platforms in crypto that might help people or investors to somehow avoid scam or limit the chances of being scammed by analyzing the source code or the solidity code of a certain token. Most of them are like platforms that gives certification or auditing platforms, launchpads and etc., that truly evaluates the chances of a certain project to be a legitimate one.

But still there is no guarantee about that matter. You still must do your own research to avoid scam. You should not fully rely on platforms I have mentioned because there are still times where the devs. are pros to the point that they can manipulate the contract and gain access on it. And no one can really tell who can and who can't do such things. But online platforms that analyze the tokens really are a big help, especially those who are well known by crypto investors.
A lot of people do not understand the amount of research they need to do and that is why there is a big problem with the research problem. There is a good chance that we are talking about probably at least a week of researching something before you should join it, you need to know every single detail about it and that's how you make a profit.

However a lot of people check the website, check twitter, check telegram of it, ask a few people and then jump into things and call it a research. You are right that with right tools they could definitely invest into things but that doesn't change the fact that they are not using it right, even though they have those tools, they end up just looking at things for a few hours, maybe 1 day max and then they invest into them.

No one can predict the course of a coin if influential people have spoken. just like Dogecoi.was exposed years ago, this coin is underrated. but what happens now? everyone wants to have it. so is the case with Shiba. who will know about the fate of this coin

So to answer the question, yes it is, through the help of all available platforms online and with your proper research you can avoid scam.

And I think the main reason why people are being scammed is because, they choose to get scammed. Not doing proper research, taking risk on projects even if they already knew in the first place that there is a high chances the devs. might run away. One example are people investing on memes, with no real usecase and anonymous team.

Maybe let's just accept the fact that no one can't get rid of those scams happening all over again. But we can prevent it from occurring so often so we won't always be losing our funds.
exactly, we can do prevention with several ways. this is just a basic ways,

Individual:
- Don't believe in investment offers from strangers
- Don't believe in doubling money
- Do not believe if they offer help let alone ask for a private key.

Project:
- Choose IDO/IFO/ICO projects on a trusted platform and have a project portfolio with strict conditions
- Avoiding APE in anonymous projects
- Avoid influencers you never know in real life

Exchanges:
- Use the exchange that is used the most by people around you, that's enough. don't make too many exchange accounts. because you indirectly reveal your identity in various places.

According to the theory of probability, to exclude the likelihood is already being held hostage to someone's beliefs. Anything can happen, but at the moment the prerequisites for such a probability are extremely small. I think that without a strong informational occasion, it will be impossible to create a wave of ruin.

The best and the most effective way not to be scammed while playing in the lucrative cryptocurrency industry is to never be involved here. There is just no way to 100% determine if a project can be a scam or not though of course there are ways to minimize your possible exposure to them. And yes one can subscribe to an assessment system if what you are involved with can possibly just evaporate and run away with your money. Scams are always present in any industry and what we are seeing here in the crypto industry is a great explosion of them all because it is now so easy to make a project, pretend to be legit and fool people over and over again.

I think that is impossible to avoid every scam. Scammers are to creative, people are too greedy. One can not exist without other. One spawn other. But the only possible way to avoid being scammed is not to use cryptocurrency at all.

You can analyze project million times., you can do as much research as you want, you can examine team, whitepaper as much as you like. If the project wants to scam people, they will find the way to do it.

Many novices will be deceived because they are inexperienced. But there are also many experienced people who are deceived, because people are greedy by nature, they will confidently think that no one can deceive them, and some scammer projects will be very mature, so that people can't see the goodness of this project. Bad. Many people believe it and lose their money. We can only be more careful when investing and don't trust anyone lightly. Don't be too greedy.

Not also greedy but trusting people that is why those experience one get scammed because they listen to the people that they trust to do this or invest to this and that. It is really difficult to avoid scams if you dont do research thats why almost all of us saying that we should do our research before investing since it could detect a potential project or avoid it since we done our research . Experience will follow over that time. The key is to find valuable information about that project

Well, no one is excused from scams. Although its more visible for those novices, but its also prone to happen even with those early investors in cryptocurrency. No matter how careful or vigilant you are in your investments, there are really those times that we got scam without it knowing. Maybe greed is also a big factor too since we always long for more profits so we end up investing in those projects that offer higher profits compared to those legit ones. And being overconfident too in our own accounts that sometimes we tend to forget how to be responsible in securing the safety of our own accounts and so we end up being scammed again.

Maybe let's just accept the fact that no one can't get rid of those scams happening all over again. But we can prevent it from occurring so often so we won't always be losing our funds.

I will be honest and as a newbie in the past I had been scammed a few times too and I must say that all you newbies are really lucky.
You people have all the information that is needed to prevent yourself from being scammed but back in those days falling prey to a scam was really easy.
I have learnt from my experience and was never scammed from the past 4 years. We can prevent ourself from getting scammed by taking the necessary security measures.
There are many types of scams happening every week, try to read about it and find out how scammers scam the people.
Learn from the mistakes of others and it will help you from getting scammed.
When I first started it was such a horrible situation that we literally would get scammed on our very first day. It was a very wild west type of place where everyone would scam everyone and nobody would be able to do anything. Right now the laws are better, the information is better, sharing who is dangerous and what type of scams are out there and many other things are out there.

It is a lot harder to get scammed but nowadays people are getting scammed collectively a lot more, and the amount is a lot more as well. Back in the day when even the biggest mt.gox happened the dollar amount wasn't as huge as some of the scams that happened recently, I have seen as high as 1 billion dollars for a scam, so individual ones are getting fewer but collective ones are increasing.

Do you think it is possible to completely get rid of scams?
Every investment will always involve risks and one of the most common risks that happen is this scam. Many scam projects are always coming up in order to scam and deceive people commonly with greediness and newbies to be trapped in the scam circle.
Btw, we cannot stop scam projects because this may be one of the most alluring and worthy world done by those scammers or robbers in this case.
We cannot control the people n the world to do or not do something moreover in this crypto world, there is no organization or specific rules about this.
But, we can avoid being scammed y being more and more careful, smarter, and also not hyped from new projects or investment that seem very worthy over and over

Do you think it is possible to completely get rid of scams?

Hello everybody. I think everyone who has ever been involved in cryptocurrency investments is interested in the question of how to protect themselves from scams and loss of money. Recently I learned about the CheckDot project, which creates a platform with which it will be possible to get an assessment of any project in the blockchain world. In theory, this way you can get rid of a lot of scams, but does it help?

What do you think, is it possible to somehow get rid of scams among crypto projects?

The short answer: of course is that scams cannot be avoided. Wherever there is money, scams take place (unfortunately, such things happen even in families).
In my experience, I know that the more clearly a project tries to prove that it is not a scam, the more suspicious it is, so I will stay away from the project you are talking about.

Getting rid of scams is possible. For the same you need to be highly systematic. You should not allow people to follow you, and if someone looks to be a scammer just open it silently, so that the news can spread easily. Scams too have everything in a perfect manner which won't initiate any doubt. It is our responsibility to stay safe in all possible ways.

I think it's possible to be safe from scams if you don't talk to strangers online, don't access unfamiliar websites, don't reply to unfamiliar emails, don't install unfamiliar software. Safety in the online world depends entirely on yourself, The smarter you are, the safer you will be.. Most of the scams are due to greed, so it is possible to be safe from scams by controlling greed and focusing on reality.
