Right now there are many ICOs coming out, is it really safe to participate in any of it and spend that much? In participating ICOs I have high hopes that these coins could be the next Bitcoin or other currencies that are really going up in the market.

Participating in any investment means you are ready to take the risk. Choosing the right ICO these days is very crucial because we can't actually directly pick the right one but we need to do deep research to be more sure.

A number of ICO's are in the crypto market. It is very typical to justify which one is good. So it is better to buy from secondary market.

The risk might be high because as of now many ICOs are coming out. We are not sure yet about them so i advice you that if you want to invest in ICOs, make sure to be extra careful. Make a thorough resaerch about the background so that you wont be scammed or your money will lose. But i still think that it is not yet necessary to participate in any new ICOs that are being released.

I think its risky to know maybe because even the team behind those ICOs want those coins/ project  would be successful but some sad to say did not success but a lot of ICOs are successful. It also depends in your research about the projects and teams behind it.

hey bro, what do you mean exactly by safe? Do you mean like is the project a scam or not ? Or do you want to say something like " Am I going to lose any money when the coin hit the exchange "? For the first case, the best way to see if the team is really serious and passionate we need to join their telegram and talk to them directly and ask them a lot of questions. And for the second case, nothing is guaranteed, the price of a token can be lower than the ICO price even when the team is really serious.

No, it's not safe at all! ICOs are highly risky investments where it's true that you can have high returns but there's a high possibility you can actually lose money.

In many ways:

  • The project can simply scam and disappear with investors'money
  • The project ends up to be ridicolous and price will always be lower than ICO's one

Given that 90% of ISO is hyips character and you can lose money there much faster or keep them for a very long time, while another crypt grows, you will stand still. It's easier to buy good violas like Dash, NEO, Ethereum, ETH Classic, XRP which are guaranteed to grow in the long term.

It is very safe to participate in ICO if it has it's in bitcoin talk. There are many smart guys here who can sniff Bad guy 50miles away. Make sure the ICO you want to participate in has a community. Community is good safenet.

ICO is just new crowdfunding method, so nothing scaring. Danger is not the method itself, but those who use it. I.e. specific projects. So just be careful, look what the community writes.

I think investing ICO is a good investment channel. But now there are too many ICO projects formed that make the ICO no longer attractive as it was in mid-2017. You can still invest in ICO now, but analyze and monitor it carefully before deciding to invest in ICO.

People are stuck in identifying the difference between which is genuine and which is a scam coin. I think some sort of escrow service should be used in this which will assure people that it is not a scam and worth investing in their project.

Yes I agree! It is good that any ICOs bounty campaign program will have an escrow service to be sure they will not scam any bounty participant.

yes, there are many ico that are currently circulating. you just spend more time researching and investigating just that. I think if you want to get a profit in any investment must be accompanied by knowledge and experience.

Its safe as long as your cautious of Scams. You need to do research before participating in ICO's by checking the whitepaper, its roadmap, and check the team on the project.
It's back to you finding a good ico project and not a scam,  it's just that sometimes we do not get profit because ico project is not successful or at least market interest.

Nothing is safe entirely, you must take your time to do your own due diligence and investigate the ICO as much as possible before making a decision. If you rush in to decisions through laziness or FOMO that is when you are likely to get caught out and lose your funds.

i agree with you, everyday have many ICOs is raising and we are not able know which ones are good or bad unless we have got research about their project. The most important is the team, we have to sure that the team has experience in the domain they are launching, that's very important as it will determine whether operations will be handled adequately. After we need to research about the idea of project, product, roadmap.... research all carefully before invest your money

You hinted on the other side of it, that even if you pick a legitimate project you may easily still pick one that is not successful, this is so difficult to achieve in todays market because there are so many ICOs right now. It is further reason to take your time, first you must avoid the scam projects and then when you have narrowed it down to legitimate projects you must then pick the ones which have the best chance for success.

Safety to participate depends on how you search for a whole detail of an ICO . It also depends upon the developer. You should do all background checking of an ICO. Thoroughly go for whitepapers, roadmap and development team of that ICO. Aways be careful before participating and think wisely to take another step forward. Finding a right one is a difficult task.

always be careful of any ICO, should do research first before deciding to join the ICO. thoroughly used whitepaper, development team, and roadmap of the project.
All of them are really important things because to do deep analyzation to the project and we must try to take various feedbacks from the many persons. Universa as the best ico right now seems to be a better choice.

Well there are times ICO fails  to deliver its promise specially if the project has less production. Some participants keep asking, and confused, why isnt so? this? and that? I just learn it from my previous experience, and for me to correct  my confusions, its better to consult to experienced individual in the forum if which ICO's are reliable before joining.

It depends on what your definition of safe, most of the ico will dump under the ico price, maybe that price range can be good if you want to invest. The only problem is to spot what a good ico and a total scam. Do your own research as always and do a lot of research.

It is hard to figure out if an ICO is safe or not because we will just know it after we have already engaged into it. It do not need to spend that much on participating into ICOs because joining into campaigns can already make you acquire or obtain their tokens in exchange for promoting their project. It is normal nowadays to take all the risks in doing such ways of earning money when it comes to cryptocurrency where ICOs are involve. Just be wise on reading into their websites to gather informations and let you decide whether you will invest into it by taking the risk or not
