at first you have to know your major objectives why you are here because if you know the reason why you are here you will be concentrated and I believe that if you are concentrated you can make your merit or any your merit at any point in time, a merit not have any solution to earn it but only solution that you can use is to make sure you respond positively to any post that is be made by any other person, so therefore I believe that they have to understand the real concept of making a merit or earning merit is by making a reasonable or a quality post that is educative to people that is only Avenue that you can make a merit

Those that pay self paid with few cent or dollar that doesn't match in for the work being done by hunters. It's high time newbies understand the main purpose of the forum for them to work with it.

Since the crypto market is already on the bull run, the. We might be seeing more bounty projects coming toaunch again with good vibes and opportunity for bounty hunters to earn from different bounty programs they subscribed for.
Making free money in the crypto market is more of a competitive move this time and many new projects would like to give out there tokens to users so that they can benefit from holding their token and doing little tasks. Those that can find their ways on knowing good bounty tokens that would have a massive bullish movement in the market will tend to make money from bounty projects.

For you to keep being a member of this forum, you do not necessarily need merits to be active here in the forum, merits is only important for you to rank up which not many are interested in the ranks, you can still be a member of the forum and carry out your business even as a newbie.

Before now, there was nothing like merits here in the forum, and at that time those who were here cab rank up to legendary members without the need for merits up until 2018 or so when the merits system was introduced but it was not a mandatory requirement to be a member of the forum, but merit is required to rank up here in the forum now.

From what I have read, merit can help you to increase your rank which can be used in joining some campaigns by simply wearing their signature, and from that you can get paid by BTC. Of course, it is not easy to attain merit as you need to have a good and quality post that can contribute here in the forum.

You can receive merits from anyone if they find that your post is helpful as well as a quality post, or you can try merit assessment where people with high ranks would evaluate your posts and give you tons of merits. I have read it before here before joining the forum, just trying to catch up.

He didn't explain to you in detail. You must contribute meaningfully before you can be given merit. You don't just get merit without putting effort. The people you see here with alot of merit worked for it.

You only need merits to progress to the next rank you don't need merits to secure your account here, once you understand the forum, join the discussion that is usually here and make a useful contribution you will be merited by other members here but you shouldn't get borderd because once you are able to get knowledge the merits won't stop coming. You can ask well ask your friend who introduced you to enlighten you more in a way you should do to get more knowledge.

'merit' is an important thing in this forum, it has become a requirement so that when your account reaches several hundred posts you will move up in ranking

If you want to grow and develop in forums, knowledge and increasing reading are important things that you need to improve because the more knowledge you get, the better the knowledge you have. But if you want to grow by increasing your account ranking then merit is something that is quite important and another way is to buy copper members with the services available on the forum.

Merit is not necessary to survive in this forum, what is necessary is to follow the forum rules, which has been provided on this thread, although merit is important if a forum member wants to rank up. A newbie needs to concentrate first on understanding forum rules, learn and increase their knowledge about crypto related matters, this alone might take a considerable time, unless the newbie already has some experience before joining the forum. After this phase then the quality of their posts will attract merit rewards from other members to them, from there it'll be easy to rank up and ultimately they can apply in a signature campaign, where they can earn financial rewards.

Merit is necessary to rank up and if your friend said that you can make some BTC from this forum then yes merit is necessary for it to happen.

In general, you can keep posting as much as you want even if you have zero merit. But when you keep posting something that can be beneficial to someone else then it's hard to stay with zero merit as well.

What did your friend told you you needed merit for? Sometimes we easily got misinformed by the way others introduced us to some certain things, you only need merits to rank up from one rank to another which is by choice and not by force, either you earn it or not, you're not going to be denied access to your Bitcointalk account, it has nothing to even do with what you do here except that you can't put on avatar except you're a full member and you can't post images except you're a Jr member or purchase a corper membership rank, every other things remains the same with you and other members of higher ranks.

Merit isn't a necessity, whether you're merited or not, you can still go about your daily business on thr forum, different people has different reasons why they're here on the forum. For some, they're here to only grow their account, earn themselves a significant number of merits, join a signature campaign and start earning some money, not that I'm saying that it's not a good thing to grow your account, earn some good number of merits and join a campaign, but that shouldn't be your driving force.
The main aim of this forum is to educate and teach people about Bitcoin and crypto at large, as well as general knowledge too, and this should be your driving force, to acquire that knowledge, and once you're dedicated to acquiring the knowledge, the and then start making meaningful contributions to the development of the forum and its users, then getting merits shouldn't be so hard.
You're merited when someone sees something meaningful in your contribution. But merit or no merit, you can still access the forum and its resources.

Secure your account how?, there's no such thing concerning merit and the safety of your account, your stay on this forum depends on you with or without merit, your friend is right and at the same time you should not take the advice so serious just like how you created this thread asking how you can get a merit. I believe you've observed the forum and you've seen post receiving merits from higher rank members, this is just simple, you post quality posts you earn merit or rather make quality comments you can still earn merit but it depends on your knowledge, how far have you gone in knowing about bitcoin if the answer is no then you should start learning about bitcoin from different post, by so doing you will get to understand and make good comments. To be sincere you need merit in terms of ranking up.
