I've been using Paypal for quite a few years with no particular issues so far. However, there are quite a few cases of closed accounts or screwing up people unfairly due to their policies. For example, it's easy to lose your money as a seller if the buyer scams you (Stolen products etc).

Because of that reversible transactions many hated to use PayPal. There are legit people that are sending their products to their "potential" customers not knowing that they are going to reverse their transactions. So the seller or businessman is going to blame PayPal about it and will finally name that they are scam but the real reason is their customer.

Paypal is very good reliable payment system its working for many years if you are following all rules given by Paypal then you never face any issue even you can withdraw and deposit without any problem just matter of understanding The problem with Paypal is that they need to follow many regulamentations imposed by respective countries to let their service working. If you need to use their services you need to have bank account, give your personal informations online and many people don't like to do it, because the internet is dangerous and maybe someone can steal your informations for shady activities. Paypal is surely not a scam, but Bitcoin is better.
It seems to me that the main reasons why the storm begins to swell around the PayPal payment system is that competitors are trying to make a few nasty things. So far, almost no one was indignant with the services of PayPal and everyone was happy, and now appeared as if some problems. In which I certainly very much doubt I have examples of the fact that they work qualitatively.

If anyone tries to login at your account with different ip that you use to login, they can login but it requires verification process.
It is not a wallet but it is a payment processor. And with the login feature that you had mentioned it is very important and paypal is making it stronger. I still believe in PayPal but I stopped on using them because I had bad experienced on them. But when I am using them I can say they are legit.
I had bad experience for using paypal to and i can't trust to deal with it anymore since when bad peoples dispute some deals then you cannot do nothing with your traded money but aside from that experience i can still point that paypal is legit since i think they are government registered and the most used processor globally interms of online transactions.
I still trust them but the disturbance and a lot of time they did for only wasting it with my business is really sick. That's why it pushed me for not using them anymore, they are legit and one of the strongest but of course there is no perfect website or business so it only depends on the satisfaction level of a customer just like me.

It's one of the largest online currency exchange platform. Many of us are using it without large scale of difficulties, if your country allow you to use it then it will be friendly for using it..

Paypal used to be disadvantaged vs Bitcoin in the transaction fee department, but with how out of control transaction fees have gotten in btc (both in satoshis and the usd equivalent due to the high price of btc), PayPal looks more and more reasonable every day. The blocksize issue must be solved.
Well you have some point about in paypal disadvantage vs bitcoin. As i can say Bitcoin is much more realible than paypal because as what we see now. You can determined that bitcoin have been incresing its community. Many countries recognizes bitcoin now so its plus in demand of bitcoinMore reliable how? Bitcoin currently has all kinds of congestion so that you don't know if or even when your transactions will post, or really how much in fees you have to pay for a reasonable confirmation time. As "accepted" as Bitcoin is, PayPal is far more accepted and trusted as a payment option around the world. I just don't see a single advantage Bitcoin currently has over PayPal.

to me i personally have no idea about paypal that either paypal is scam or not. but i personally do not think that it can be a scam because is serving people here for a long time and i think a scam project can run for such a long time. but i think after bitcoin has been introduce in market the value of paypal is going down, because people are now giving preference to bitcoin instead of paypal.

You have a good point for showing that paypal is not scam but people often think different. They think that if someone freeze their money then they scammed them and for them that service is scam. Paypal have its guideline and according to it they freeze accounts but sometimes people do not read and get their money as freeze. 
I have a long experience with paypal as this payment processor was once the only way to receive my online income to my bank account. I have used it for more than 6 years for money transfers and I never had any issue with that. The only drawback with paypal, was the high fees and nothing else.
I can vouch that paypal had never scammed for a single dollar ever and I always had great experience with them. Since I now have cheaper options available, I don't use it anymore but they are definitely not scam.

i do not think that paypal is scam because i also use paypal few times for transaction and i never face to any scam but i mostly use bitcoin because bitcoin is very simple and trusted to use in anywhere for online shopping.
