Yes mate, product is very important in one project. How can they encourage investors if they dont have a product mate. And some point, we choose that project because we think that their product is so useful to us. Id they have a good product that will helps a lot in cryptocurrency, it will be successful for sure mate.

Tbh, it totally depends on the product. If that product is simple webpage or mobile/dekstop applications, most developers can done it within weeks, without spending over a thousand dollars. Most of the "ready-made" product of ICO are merely a demonstration for their project, not what the team is capable of. These kind of products are only fundamentally functional, and its features do not standout from the market as well.
If the company does not have a product, then I would not advise risking and investing in ICO. If the product of the ICO is good then it can attract more investors.

Yes, product is important in a project, because when your product is not popular and not convincing, people will not invest in your project, but if your project is popular and promising for sure many investors will invest in your project and it will be a successful project.
If company already has the at least demo product, that increases chances that project will be sucesfull, and is not just an another scam.
