There is nothing wrong with regulation on its own, but in the best  interest of how cryptocurrency was designed, it might not be helpful. We are operating in a decentralized system and bringing in regulation, is like allowing centralization, which might make cryptocurrency and block chain technology not to be of use or necessary again.

Regulation can be good, it helps to reduce scams and fraudulent acts such as account hacking and currency inflation and many others. But the process may not be that convenient for many, like I'm also not finding KYC easy. And I've always ignored ICO's with KYC simply because some of the requested documents I have Is not accepted.

I think the regulation will end the confusion we are in. too many people are trying to abuse too many icos. Editing may be useful to prevent other people's efforts from being wasted.
Well, the regulation will bring in two things into the ICOs project and like you said it will end confusion and scam issue no doubt but the government will also abuse the regulation system in the way of taking advantage of crypto investors and project team.

I believe that regulation will have a positive effect on the development of cryptography in general. This does not mean that you have to advertise your income, which means that you will be more protected.

I concur!

Regulation in the crpyto space would be a great idea as it would help reduce the number of scam projects within the crypto space. But i would like ICOs to be regulated to ensure that only realistic projects are launched in the crypto industry. The introduction of regulations would also bring more investors on board as they would find crypto investments very secured to invest into.

In my view, regulation will be good for Crypto industry. As we can now see  that many Govt are looking for ways to regulate the industry.

Regulation will be a good thing in the long run. It will build trust for the industry among the masses thereby resulting in mass adoption. With regulation, people will feel more comfortable and have a sense of security to invest in crypto.

I don't believe that regulation means we have to declare our portfolio. Just as nobody cares to know exactly how much you own in the bank.

Regulation will also help in curbing the possibility of using crypto to launder money and place a check and balance in ICO which will make it very difficult for scam ICOs to operate.

I say regulation will in the end be a good thing for crypto..

What's your view about it?

Some regulations permits the worse thing to happen in the cryptos, Well, in real life, they can easily manipulated by money and what more in crypto when teams can send money with anonymity.

Yes.  And  although the government will regulate crypto at large, there will always be fringe cryptos that exist outside of the reach.

if in my opinion regulation is very important for our career journey and crypto development as well, the problem is that more and more countries that legalize crypto are getting older and growing so crypto has a good future

The coin has two sides. It all depends on who writes the laws governing crypto currencies.
This may be useful for some, but not all.
On the one hand, this provides protection against fraudsters, but one should not forget that the regulator can also become a fraudster. Especially in countries where regulatory bodies cannot be trusted.

I agree completely with your assertion that regulation of Cryptocurrency will positively affect the Cryptocurrency space in no small measures.
But the issue here is that  the structure of Cryptocurrency is complete decentralized and so it would be difficult to exact regulatory control over it.

I agree with you that the regulation is important for the crypto world and can reduce the case of scammers with the crypto regulation policy. other things can also be beneficial to the industry and also to other parties, hopefully this hope will be realized soon.

Personally I see regulations in two different perspective, one is; the government will do it to favour the whereby there will be some strict rules that will make it very difficult for projects to run ICO, second part is that it will help to reduce scam projects and more trust from investors.

We are dealing with money here so I agree on regulating any crypto assets. After all, we can also benefit from it. It will protect us from scams or frauds.

regulation is good, and but difficult to implement because the government or financial institutions still think that crypto is a traditional financial ecosystem killer. and many still think that regulation is the same as eliminating anonymity. so as long as people still think like that there will be no regulation for crypto.

and during that time there will also be no mass adoption.

regulation as you discussed? if the regulation does not harm investors or bounty hunters in a country, or maybe the regulation is even beneficial for both of them I think that is a good thing for the future of crypto currencies.

regulation for using cryptocurrency is of course not good because it is the right of all people who can have as much cryptocurrency as they want without any restrictions on usage or transaction restrictions, and bitcoin does not need such regulation because bitcoin should be free for anyone to use and free they have as much bitcoin as possible.

It is a very difficult question, because on the one hand, crypto currency was created to avoid any regulations, but on the other hand, there are too much scammers and fraud ICOs on the market and we need to find a way of how to eliminate them.
