There is no point regulating cryptocurrency and in particular ICO! What is thecpoint of been in cryptocurrency if at the end of the day we can not effectivelly govern cryptocurrency with decentralized system. The check and balances should be open protocol not secretly control!

yes you are right, As we can see now, it is true that many governments are looking for ways to regulate the crypto industry, if regulations are implemented and realized it certainly can have a good impact on this cryptoqurency. now there are many companies that are adopting blockchain technology, so without doubt regulation is indeed necessary!

Although regulations will take away more of the control that users have on the market making it lose most of its quality as decentralization, cryptocurrency needs regulations especially in the field of ICOs in order to check the scam projects. Also, regulation will bring more investors to the scene as the governments will accept it.

Regulation means, Everything will be done by the proper way and manner which is the preference for every field because Rules and regulation always the reason of success and achievement. Applying the regulation will reduce the fraudulent by the fake people. which is bad for crypto market and investors and faith on crypto also effected by this.

There are good and bad sides of regulation for crypto market, everybody know that there are lots of fraud issues especially at the icos side and regulation can prevent this but they can want to control bitcoin and all this market with regulations also.

Of course I support free market economy. That's like a core principle of our social development. But as we all know regulation is also required. The extent of regulation is a question but even cryptocurrencies should be regulated.

The regulation has some very good advantages:
1. This will allow a large number of new players from the stock market to come to the crypto market. Which will increase the capitalization of cryptocurrency at times.
2. It will make over-the-counter trading and price manipulation impossible.
3. Reduce the number of new projects created by fraudsters.

I think that because of these advantages, it is worth agreeing on regulation.

Regulation to some extent is definitely good and even necessary - some laws and guidelines for dealing with cryptocurrencies will give everyday people some new and much-needed confidence when making their first BTC purchase.

They have to be sure that scamming is a thing they don't need to worry for and they will not get into troubles when owning/trading cryptos. So yeah, some regulation is good, but we need to preserve the original idea that crypto was meant to solve - "banking" without banks.

I am absolutely certain that regulation is a means to give more security and protection to investors and also to prevent the market from being flooded with scam projects.

The regulation provides a kind of guarantee for legality, if it is issued by the government it will be very good for further developments. But still keep in mind that the risk remains high, price movements are quite extreme, so we must remain prepared with all the risks.

Rules and regulation were always good for people who were trying to play fair. It is bad for those who doing bad things like scams or bogus. Everyone wants to play safe nowadays and I am still question the crypto world for not have regulations on ICO. This might help prevent SCAM ICO that were ruining the crypto investment.

I do not know how to combine regulation and decentralized cryptocurrencies together. However, if this helps to avoid a large number of deceived investors, then I agree to this.

regulation is not fully needed for crypto. it is proven that crypto can continue to live without regulation but if crypto gets a regulation, it will affect crypto even if it has a large or small effect.
and in my personal opinion if crypto gets regulation, then maybe crypto will get better because new people will trust crypto more.

There'll be anarchy without any regulation, but the total regulation will lead to the centralization. Both outcomes are destructive for cryptocurrencies. I guess the scope of regulation must be limited!

Regulation is good and a welcome step to eliminate fraudsters from this system and only real projects will come to the market. This will create more trust in this market and many new investors will come here after regulations.

In short term it won't be good. But Regulations to feel far more better and secure for potential and current cryptocurrency Investors will be very very bullish in the big picture of this Industry. Stock Exchange Investors will definitely fly here with better regulations.

In my view, regulation will be good for Crypto industry. As we can now see  that many Govt are looking for ways to regulate the industry.

Regulation will be a good thing in the long run. It will build trust for the industry among the masses thereby resulting in mass adoption. With regulation, people will feel more comfortable and have a sense of security to invest in crypto.

I don't believe that regulation means we have to declare our portfolio. Just as nobody cares to know exactly how much you own in the bank.

Regulation will also help in curbing the possibility of using crypto to launder money and place a check and balance in ICO which will make it very difficult for scam ICOs to operate.

I say regulation will in the end be a good thing for crypto..

What's your view about it?

the next step of crypto should be regulation. game rules must be set.

I think regulation will reduce one of the distinguished features of crypto, but it will also go a long way to save the face of it and prevent deceit and fraudulent acts
It should not be a strict regulation and we must give a chance to the crypto to create its self regulation. AFAIK this will be a very important thing to prevent the scammer. I guess the only best way to create a regulation that will force icos to be registered on the institutional.

For the cryptocurrency market, regulation is necessary, because then serious investors will come and this will have a positive effect on the value of the coins. The market will become more stable.
Without regulation by the state, everything is determined by speculators.
