It all depends on the state. If taxes go to roads, medicine and social protection, they are needed. But where the government steals money, there taxation is a direct theft.

Personally, I do feel it is theft, I never consented to any taxation. I feel that this video helps explain the video quite well https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGMQZEIXBMs

but look, if it's done right, tax can help improve the country and it's cities. Imagine if everyone is paying their taxes and then you can ue that money to help upgrade the local hospital of childrens playground, rework the pawement, etc... But usually that's not the case and also, high taxes make people avoid them, like the luxury tax or income tax.

Well if we could say that all are paying taxes but the problem is the government if they are not using it for good it just they are using it for useless projects and also they are corrupt the taxes that we paid is not back to us. Tax is for improvement for the country thats the reason why we pay tax but the problem is if the government is corrupt so that is the biggest problem how do they improve the country

This is actually true. Basically if you don't feel like your taxes don't do anything for you, then you will feel that paying your taxes is kinda like stealing. I mean i heard in one country, they don't pay for school, and even health care. So i guess if my country will tax me 50% of my salary and i do feel that it's worth it then I'd gladly pay for it. Too bad that some of it goes to the pocket of government officials

Imagine that I have founded a charity organization that helps the poor. But not enough people are voluntarily contributing to my charity, so many of the poor remain hungry. I decide to solve the problem by approaching well-off people on the street, pointing a gun at them, and demanding their money. I funnel the money into my charity, and the poor are fed and clothed at last.

Tax assessment is not burglary or a demonstration of stealing. Tax assessment is our offer that we should offer back to society that changes into government welfare administrations and others. It is much the same as going to class, if the understudies would not pay the educational cost there will be no instructors, no classrooms, nothing just a fruitless land is there if there is no educational cost charge.

Paying expenses resembles paying a pizza from a pizza house in return for the food. Tax assessment is that way, in return for equity, well being administrations, insurance and equity from guiltiness, street systems we pay charges. In the event that there are no duties then who will assemble the streets, who will pay the police and military potentially there are innumerable tumult from warlords if there is no legislature. Charges is the sustenance of our legislature and of our country without it we have no country.

Did you go to school?

Do you use the roads?

Did you ever visit the hospital? (unless you're from USA)

Then don't act like you haven't consented to taxation, you're using the benefits built and made from taxes
You must pay your taxes if you're going to use these services
It would be selfish to avoid it, and it could also get you to jail  Cheesy
Well said sir. If you feel that taxation robs an individual of his riches or income. Then might as well never use government facilities like hospital, roads etc. Taxes is the blood of the govrernment. It is where funds for infrastructure as well as salaries of offiicals are derived.

In our country Philippines  taxation is theft.
because of too high tax .
but we can't even feel or know where the tax go.

In most of the third world nations, only a small minority pay their taxes. As a result, the burden on the tax payers is much higher than those in the developed nations. For example, in my country only 2.5% of the population pays the income tax. That means that they are subsidizing the remaining 97.5% of the population. This model is simply not sustainable.

Taxation, the government acquisition of property from the individual has mixed support in any Western democratic system. To make its way into the good will of the majority, taxation has surrounded itself with doctrines of justification.

There are time that I consider it as theft. The reason why we pay tax is for he betterment of our own country. But, how are we supposed to feel okay about it if we do not see a lot of progress at all? That’s what I think.

Taxation is not a teft. It just a rightful way of contributing to our nation-building. It is giving a percentage of what you earn for the development of our country and for helping the people who can't have a good job. However, those people in the taxation system are the real theft. They are greedy people that they wanted a lot of money...

taxation might be bad for other reasons. For instance, there is evidence that your tax dollars aren’t spent very efficiently. And, taxation can slow economic growth, a result that’s bad for everyone, including the poor. But saying that taxation is unwise is different than saying taxation is theft.

In the USA, income tax was always voluntary. The tax people know this. But they consider that you have volunteered even if you attempt to tell them, "No." However, once you find the way to volunteer out, they will hide from you so that they can keep stealing your wages. You will have to go out and dig them up and take them to court to get them to stop taking your money.

Karl Lentz can show you the way out. Check him out here https://www.youtube.com/user/765736.

Taxation is not a theft. Without it the nation will suffer and will not be able to stand but excessive taxation and corruption of taxes by the government officials is brighter than the sun a form of theft.

Trump: We must fix our self-destructive tax code

As we celebrate Labor Day, we are reminded of the inherent dignity of work and the American worker. In America, we honor grit. We honor determination. We honor craftsmanship. And we honor the men and women who turn dreams into reality with their own two hands.

Earlier this year, I traveled to Wisconsin to sign the Buy American and Hire American executive order. With that action, we sent a powerful signal to the world that we are going to defend our workers, protect our jobs and put America first.

Today, the hopes and dreams of American workers and their families remain a top priority for my administration. That is why we are launching efforts to reduce the crushing tax burden that is harming our companies and our workers.

Our self-destructive tax code costs Americans millions of jobs, trillions of dollars and billions of hours spent on compliance and paperwork.

To fix this, we have made the foundation of our job creation agenda fundamentally reforming our tax code for the first time in more than 30 years. I want to work with Congress on a plan that is pro-growth, pro-jobs, pro-worker and pro-American.

Our plan will dramatically reduce income taxes for American workers and families. It will nearly double the standard deduction to help families get ahead. It will make our complex tax code more simple and fair. It will put money back into the pockets of the people who earned it. And it will bring back American jobs by making our businesses competitive once again.

In 1986, President Ronald Reagan led the effort to make America the most competitive nation in the world by cutting our business tax rate to 34%, well below the average rate of other developed nations at the time. It worked. Our economy boomed, the middle class thrived and median family income increased.

But our economic competitors did not sit still. They saw what we did and started lowering their business tax rates, too. Over the past 30 years, the average business tax rate among developed nations in the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) fell from 45% to less than 24%.

Instead of remaining competitive over the same period, we actually raised our rate to 35%. When combined with state and local taxes, American businesses today are effectively taxed at 39%.

We have gone from a business tax rate that is lower than our economic competitors to one that is more than 60% higher.

The United States is now behind nations such as France, Germany, Canada, Ireland, Japan, Mexico and South Korea. We are dead last.

No taxation isn't theft. Build your own country or kingdom if you think it's theft. tax is the blood of a country to operate.

Interesting theory, I do not believe I have ever heard that before. Care to elaborate?

In what part of this Earth do you live? Is this the first time you knew things about taxation?

In my opinion, taxation is not theft. Our tax is use to develop roads and other government projects in can only be called theft when government officials use it for their own luxury

There are two important factors here:

1. Most of the government officials get good salary packages, which are drawn from the tax revenues.
2. Tax money is used for wasteful spending, such as invading third world nations.
