I think that the goal of almost any type of gambling is to earn money for a casino. Grin

Most often, people go for entertainment, atmosphere, adventure. Money only adds to the severity of the aftertaste of emotions.

But you did withdraw 165 EUR initially, didn't you? That's still a good win!

For me, as long as you have fun and enjoy gambling there will be no problem. No one should change themselves and still be responsible regardless of the outcome of the game win or lose after gambling. Just be prepared and deal with the consequences. When I was gambling, I actually set a budget, so I knew if I needed to stop I would not be able to increase my losses. Overall, it's still more enjoyable and exciting to play gambling when you know and you know you can win and earn.

You are right. When someone only focuses on earning money in an instant way, it makes him be out of control. There is a big difference between a gambler that gambles because he just wants to gamble and a gambler who gambles smartly. Experiencing and doing this once is still ok but doing it twice or thrice then there is a problem already.

It is not only you who are experiencing this kind of situation. Even me when I'm still gambling experienced this. After I won in my sports betting when I'm still new to gambling, I choose not to withdraw my total funds which got tripled at that time and that is a bad decision for me. After putting all of my money and betting it in sports bet, I end up losing all of my money. I felt regret when it happened to me but after few hours of playing online games it is gone already.

Overall, don't let your emotions eat you and always learn to control yourself in any situation that can happen to you. You must've a plan when you are winning and at the same time when you are losing.

I think you are wrong with the word "traders" that you used and it should be "gamblers".

I use mining when I want to earn money without investing, trading when I want to earn money wisely and with investing money and I use to gamble when I want to entertain my self when I am getting bored in doing trading and mining so I am one of the proof that when one user do gambling, it doesn't mean that they want to earn money.

What we can learn from your story is we need to stop the games and withdraw the money while we have time to do that. Let's not talk about all gamblers like they are the same, I have talked about before how I do not gamble for money at all, to me gambling is something I have fun with and that's it, I do not see it as anything more. I personally feel like the best thing I could do with gambling would be to win money only to gamble even further, the less I deposit the more I am happy about it but in the end I know that I will gamble all my winnings and lose them, the difference between me gambling and losing versus me gambling and winning is the simple fact that when I win, I end up gambling even more to lose all of that, and that is very cool. But in no way or shape I ever gamble so I could make big profits and withdraw that and spend that, never have I done that before.

I feel like making money from gambling is not something you do with games that have house edge right? Like I get that you could want to be a professional poker player, there are literally people who make a living out of that, why? Because you are gambling against other people and there is no edge, so you could become a very good one and you could earn a living out of that. However when you are playing against games like dice for example, that game has house edge, how are you planning to make a living out of it? Or simply make money from it? I am not trying to diminish the idea, I am just trying to figure out how could anyone make money from something that has house edge, and can't think of any methods to do that at all.
