There are many who do not like gambling I think if you don't know how to gamble well you are more likely to lose here However, there are many professional traders who do not see gambling as a means of entertainment but as a means of earning money.
I think you are wrong with the word "traders" that you used and it should be "gamblers".
Anyway, most of the gamblers think of the same way. They think that gambling is a form to make money in a quick and easy way. Although there are some gamblers who are just gambling for entertainment, deep inside they also want to earn money but still there are a few ones who are just gambling for fun at all. These are the disciplined ones.
The main purpose of gambling for me is to earn money in a quick way and I know that most of the gamblers think the same too. That is why there are many gamblers because they don't want to work hard to have some bucks. They want to test their luck thru gambling hoping that it can change their lives.
Well, there is a possibility of hitting the jackpot in many games, including dice, slots, lotto etc. You can even hit jackpot playing poker at some special tables(Remember
Bad Beat Jackpot, when a very good hand loses to an even better one). So, yeah, all of us hope to earn money with gambling somewhere deep down inside. But it's one thing to hope to hit the jackpot, knowing that the probability of that is very slim, and it's entirely another thing to think that you can invent a strategy with which your profits are guaranteed. That's where the difference lies between regular gamblers(95% of all gamblers) and problem gamblers, who, contrary to popular belief, constitute a minority of all gamblers.
