There are many who do not like gambling I think if you don't know how to gamble well you are more likely to lose here However, there are many professional traders who do not see gambling as a means of entertainment but as a means of earning money.
I think you are wrong with the word "traders" that you used and it should be "gamblers".
Anyway, most of the gamblers think of the same way. They think that gambling is a form to make money in a quick and easy way. Although there are some gamblers who are just gambling for entertainment, deep inside they also want to earn money but still there are a few ones who are just gambling for fun at all. These are the disciplined ones.

The main purpose of gambling for me is to earn money in a quick way and I know that most of the gamblers think the same too. That is why there are many gamblers because they don't want to work hard to have some bucks. They want to test their luck thru gambling hoping that it can change their lives.

The higher the profit the greater the loss Many would have left the game if they hadn't made money from now on Its main purpose is to make money.

Yesterday I won 235 Eur with a 0.4 Eur bet in the slot machine Swords and the Holy Grail of Play n Go provider in Sportsbet slot section.I made it to the last bonus round where you have 5 free spins with 100 multiplier. While I was playing I was bored as I thought I would never win big in gambling yet I won a super huge amount considering the initial bet and the amount won. That made my day and not always the idea is to make more money as I withdrew 165 Eur and bought some digital items I needed while saving about 80 Eur to play again.
Even if I lose now no problem as I got what I wanted.

They should be the professional gamblers. Trading is compared to gambling but it's not really like it.

The higher the profit the greater the loss Many would have left the game if they hadn't made money from now on Its main purpose is to make money.
Technically, the more comes back when they've lost more because of the chase and getting back those lost bets.

I stand with Ukraine.
-snip- it is natural to play gambling to make money and not just entertainment  Grin
Correct, we can't deny that basically most people gamble in order to win or earn some money. Entertainment is the side purpose or even there is a person to gamble for fun only, it is just a few people. If the purpose is purely for fun, the gamblers won't be interested in big prizes promotion. And they may not choose gambling games if they prefer to have fun, they probably choose online games for free.

Not everyone likes those games, I can assure you. I, for one, don't like them at all. I find the plots poorly written, and graphics is far from satisfactory. I'd rather play some facebook poker instead. But, in fact, I'm not going to play FB poker either, cos I don't like games where no money involved. And it's not because I gamble to win money, no, I gamble for fun. But there's no fun if there's no money(for me, at least). When I win $2 after playing more than 2 hours in a poker tournament is it a good pay? Of course not! But it doesn't matter, cos I'm not playing for money. Yet, when it's free and there are no money prizes, the game is entirely different, and I don't like that kind of game.

It is not denying the fact that most gamblers are really for the main purpose of earning money. However, such goal is not easy to achieve here as most games are based on luck. If you are a gambler, make sure you are only spending what you can afford to lose to avoid circumstances that you don't want to face with.

Everyone would like to make more money but I don't think that is the point. Maybe for professional gamblers who feel that pressure but to my opinion gambling should be fun at the first place and you should gamble if it.feels good. Of course we also want to make some money and that is no wrong but it shouldn't be the main purpose. If you manage to combine fun and profit that is winning combination but it's not very often.

If you gamble for fun, it means that you lose (pay for fun) money! But every person wants to win... Therefore, in gambling there is not only entertainment, but also greed! Wink Because of which some people lose control and become addicted...
I don't think he is telling the truth...  Cheesy
if it's purely for entertainment, why not play online casino games that have no bets, that's a lot of scattered on Google Play. it is natural to play gambling to make money and not just entertainment  Grin

Both is important it's better if you experienced winning and also you gonna feel the fun of playing gambling.
Player will become lonely once they lose more money but if they control they selves and they lose a little for sure they still enjoy yhe gambling games.
Maybe it all depends not on whether you win, but on whether the casino lets you win! Wink
I'm sure it's much more interesting to play when you're allowed to win...

At least for me, this argument doesn't sound right. Because there are a lot of people like me, who are recreational gamblers. I gamble, for entertainment purposes and I involve myself in sports gambling, most of the times to support my favorite teams. Given the house advantage, someone who gambles regularly is more likely to lose money than gain anything (unless he rigs the game).
This is true. The more times you are gambling, the more chances that you will lose since not all the time you aren't lucky Cheesy.

There are 3 reasons why people are gambling.
- they want to make more money
- they want to get entertained as you posted
- they want to get entertained but at the same time they want to get money

In the 3rd one that I said, yes there are some gamblers who are just gambling just for fun but there is a desire for them to make money and when they win as they are getting happy it will be just a bonus only. For me, gambling for fun isn't a bad idea as long as you will spend small amount of money and you will not feel anything bad whenever you lost it. Most of the gamblers for sure are gambling for money because gambling can give you profit in a short amount of time but on the other hand, you can loss all of your money there in a short amount of time.

I agree with your dividing gamblers into 3 categories, but I disagree that those belonging to the first one constitute the majority.

And here's why. People who gamble for money are very likely to become addicted gamblers sooner or later. But according to various studies and reports, for a number of years, only from 2% to 3% of all gamblers can be called "problem gamblers".

I appreciate your work and I’m in this category. I just take gambling for fun and entertainment purpose. I often go to casino but I’m not addicted, because I only gamble in my spare time.  I love sports, most of the time I gamble on sports like you. As I don't do it for money, that's why I gamble on my favorite team. sometimes I win and sometimes I lose but it doesn't a big fact, peace of mind is key here.
I wanna tell something more, if you gamble regular just for money, I’m sure that you will be addicted on it.  so, I would say that it is better for us to take it as fun than to gamble just to make money.

Gambling is really entertaining and there are still instances where it leads to addiction. So we should not think that gambling will give us money because if we keep pushing, we will just keep losing. Others say it's a bonus to win a prize in the event of a win. Because they really go to gamble to have fun, enjoy and experience the unique fun it brings.

It is fun when you win, and it's not fun when you lose! But that is the excitement, most of us know that
nobody can win all the time, or lose all the time, the thrill comes from playing to win, when you win, but
losing makes winning even better!
People who got addicted are the ones who think only about winning, and they spent a lot of money trying
to make huge profit! In one moment addicted gambler pay to get even, but actually he just dropping down
more! Play to have fun and don't think about the profit all the time, if you do that you will never be gambler
addict.

I believe that the purpose of gambling is to produce an entertainment stuff to people that isn't free, this comes the another purpose of gambling which is to make a profit by winning. I find myself having both of these since I am entertaining myself while having a chance to win and make money. I agree someone who gambles regularly is most prone to losing, that's why we have such thing as success and fail limit. At the end of the day, in any purpose of your gambling the house always wins.

When you don't have the feel to gamble, you are just like throwing your money, so it's better not to do it, don't be desperate in gambling.
Whether your reason is to gamble for fun or for the profit, you don't gamble if you are having issues with your emotion.

Gamble when you're free and feeling well so good vibes is with you.

I'm not sure if the "good vibes" can help you to win, but overall I agree that it's better to stay away from gambling when you are upset. Micro wins can hardly improve your mood, while you can lose a lot in the hunt for the big ones; which can only make things worse.
