Usually fake crypto is use MLM marketing to sell their coin, like Onecoin and Bitconnect. This crypto just use ponzi shceme and fraud. Real crypto is has Proof of stake or Proof of work mining reward and less premine.

fake coin. in my opinion there is a coin that has no value and no exchange. This fake coin is found on some ico that contain scams. this was very disappointing because it was very detrimental and made a bad image on crypto currencies

I think it called death project coin and not fake coins. Too many coin/token in market and its hard to determine good coin or death coin. But i identify death coin by their daily transaction volume, if they have small transaction volume, i will not buying that coin

I don't call them fake coins, rather i call them unsuccessful coins. There are a lot of these coins on the market which are developed by inexperienced team which is incapable of carrying the coin to a success. It is always smart to read about the team members of each project before investing in them.

I think what you mean is the manner by which to maintain a strategic distance from valueless coins. There are a few ventures in the encoded world that are totally air and have no particular business or network support, and a large number of the early coins are currently at near zero, and these are useless coins. There are some new coins as of late. Perhaps they pay a few expenses when they enter the trade. We should focus on not getting them.

I think it is not the coin that is fake but the project and the team behind it because each coin in order to be listed in the market will definitely become legit first but scams happen whenever the team behind happens to plan to just get initial investors.

Ofcourse it is. Because the basic of blockchain is creating a direct market to seller and buyer then there is no control about fake coin.
Problem is that you should choose the best coin to inevst in.

Of course there are, even in large numbers. Think carefully before you invest in coins, always be careful in dealing directly with these coins because this can change your life poorly.

I don't know if by fake you mean counterfeit, if so then now, the point of cryptocurrencies is that no one can be able to make more of the same coin anytime they want but there are  a lot of scam coins in the market which is the coins that you would want to avoid investing in. These are the coins that have no good products and are run by scammers.

before buy you should research about the coin project team and road map.if it is clear we can tell the coin is good and real one ,if their is no team and no project behind the coin we can say t is a fake and dead coin,so do  your own research before buy Smiley Wink Wink Wink

Yes, there are many such coins, many users simply do not want to study the project, so they fall on such coins. Study projects closely monitor them and you do not fall for such coins in most cases

There are a lot of fake coins on the market at the moment. The majority of them are the coins released this year after the ICO of the project that stays behind them. After the tremendous success of plenty of projects reached by the ICOs launched in 2017, a lot of companies decided to enter crypto and blockchain market in order to make a fast fortune without any significant contributions in it and without any essential knowledge in this area. For that reason, they fail.
