I liked op's question.lol.Not only USD, all fiat currencies are used for illegal activities. In each country, people use their currency for illegal activities. And for international illegal activites, USD is used more . When bitcoin becomes popular, definitely i will be used for illegal activites instead of USD. Not only bitcoin, all cryptocurrencies will be used for this type of things.That's why governments are not legalizing cryptocurrencies.

Yeah, every currency is used for illegal activities. The goodness with it is the convenience that each currency provides. I think that this topic was created in retaliation for the subject which refers to the fact that bitcoin due to its anonymity often becomes a mechanism for the financing of terrorism. I agree with you that funding is tied to any currency or precious metals. To pay terrorists even drinking water, lack all Muslim countries and it is possible not bad to earn. No doubt that USD is being used for illegal activities, if it is not so. Then US doesn't have any prisoners for committing such crimes. And there's no exception of it, as long as it is money, people who are craving for money and riches will use any currency that they wish to use for their illegal activities.

To be fair when you say USD you're referring to physical cash. Bitcoin allows easier illegal activity online because it's not being overseen by a third party that could be compromised, in the same way that cash transactions are not.
