I do have hopes for Zcash, i like the anomimity, i bought a small bag with the sudden rise in price, when listed on Korean exchange. Then a drop, so i'm holding right now, i have hopes for a pricerise, one decent coin in my opinion.
I also hold the ZCash for the long time. I also mine it.

Zcash is a good coin, but, have a inestable price
That is similar to other good coins such as Bitcoin Cash or the ETH.

No more or less than any other coin from that period. I do not see anything that can make it some thing special, but there seems to be a following there. It was one of the first coins in that algo, but not the very first. There are others, and there are some that are outright copies that change only the name it seems. There is one of those out there right this second. So, really there is nothing that makes it stand out, but there are quite a few that have followed it.
I dont think zcash has any advantages over Monero.. In the future i don't see it holding much value because of that, i think only 1 coin for each niche might survive and/or thrive... But in the speculative market we are in right now, anything can fly. But be careful if you plan on holding it too long.
Forget about it. Zcash is great...for mining only., go for Zclassic instead...

Why would you prefer Zclassic to ZEN? And what do you think about ZERO (which at the moment is the cheapest option)?
The price is 230 now. It might take a few more months to reach $300.
I can't support Zcash, I did Zcash mining when it first appears. I can't trust it

I've been following Zcash for a while and though I do not hold this coin I've read good things about this and I also did my digging and I can say that zcash is good but I don't see it as a long term investment.

Zcash has been very good from a mining standpoint over the last few months. I may pivot to zenccash or hush here soon though

As far as I understand its functionality is not so vast as Dash’s or Ethereum’s. I mean it’s just private send. Am I missing something?
For the time being, Monero has more usage. But it might change in the future.

Their biggest drawback is the founder's rewards,and the anonymity,this coin is over hype,zcoin is a much better version I prefer the later than the former..
Soon this coin will lose hype and we will see it's real value.

but from other pespective that makes + go zcash becouse they have bigger motivation to work hard.
Everywhere is problem with funding and here is solved some way.
Sad part is that will centralize coin hard around certain people.
