Empowering crypto w/ sustainable energy
Today I sold some of my earned bounty tokens and bought estabilished coins from top 100. I am not in a loss because I bought the most undervalued projects that lost around 90% from its previous all time high price.

Well, it looks like they are now taking the roadmap seriously.

That is really what it should be. The roadmap should be finished before we could see the right value of the project using a token as means of offering.
Lately, I have been seeing a lot of bounty hunters that are mad because they are receiving tokens which doesnt have a value. Yes, a lot of them are in telegram groups.

For me, this is a good sign. It should never be a list then dump just like a hit and run.  Wink

Frankly I have been holding my tokens from bounty campaigns for over a year but still the devs hasn't been enlisting it on exchanges. Anyways, I am still optimistic that those tokens will somehow get listed in the market and that I could harvest the fruit of my labor.

If the tokens are worthless then you might end up getting nothing as many bounty program were run just for the benefit of the owners without having any vision or a long term plan. People just got stuck with such bounty and regretting now. Just move on from here and do not overthink if they do not add any value in long term.

Almost all bounty hunters are earnings through altcoins where once they can able to sell their rewards token, it is automatically convert into bitcoin gong into fiat currency. But most of the time the token rewards of the bounty hunters are usually hold in a long terms due to there is no exchange listing yet, and some are mostly are hyped only.

As for the retention of tokens, there is a controversial point. The fact is that not every token, the price of which is very small now, may cost more in the future. I believe that most of these tokens in general can lose their value to zero. My personal strategy is that only promising tokens can be held and this is just as risky, as successful tokens can quickly lose value. Nevertheless, it seems to me that, if possible, it is necessary to sell everything that can give a more or less normal profit. There were cases when the participants of the bounty retained all the received tokens and as a result they almost all lost their value. Personally, I see it that way. But everyone I am sure will choose their strategy.

I prefer to immediately change the bounty to BTC / ETH, but this is just my idea. if one believes thet have participated in an interesting project bounty, he does well to hold

That's exactly what I do except very few that I believe that has something huge to offer and I make sure I follow them bumper to bumper for close monitoring

Remember who u are, what u are & who you represent
There was a time I'd think it was wise to hodl bounty tokens but the more and more tokens I got the more it changed my view. Sometimes its wise to sell all after seeing how shit the project itself is, and sometimes its good to keep a portion of tokens in the wallet while trade with the rest on whatever exchanges that token is listed until the number increases. That way bounty hunters can get a decent amount of tokens and also prepare his/herself for the upcoming bullrun. But blindly holding would be foolish because even if BTC goes to $12K some bounty tokens will worth nothing simple because apart from a couple of projects, there have been no good ICO/IEO project over the last 15 months.

Gone are the days when hunters receive huge sums as rewards in fiat value when exchanged. There were cases of someone making as much as over $10000 in a single campaign and it happened that such coins have dumped drastically by now, so the hunter would have lost huge if he never exchanged and then it was the period of receive and dump quickly.

Right now the trend has changed, it is now the period of receive and hold, anyone that dumps will be dumping for a very cheap amount, may end up regretting when such tokens have pumped several amounts higher than how much was sold. Imagine working for three months and receiving $10 in token exchange value and dumping at such amount where it would be worth about $100 waiting for some months being favored with the impending bull run.

This is soo true. The times have changed. Bounties don't pay high anymore as ICOs have failed as well. Hunters have no choice than to Hodl now. Late last year I did Krios campaign. The payment was very poor. Not sure it was up to $20 for doing article, twitter and facebook campaigns as well as telegram. Just last week, the token mooned and I sold at a much higher price.

In order for an incident like this not to happen again, it is better for bounty hunters to be paid with BTC, ETH or USDT so that the same is not harmed between the bounty hunter and the developer

Bounty hunters already have time to learn right after the payments, if it is possible to transfer your earnings to Bitcoin, then a lot of the question will simply be removed.

It depends of the development of the project if the team is pushing the project to be more popular from many investors we hold more as bounty hunters to gain more profit, i think their product would be much high demand in cyrpto market if they have good concept.

Agreed, if the product will be there or been delivered im sure bounty hunters will have a nice profit. Promising project always give best assets in all investors or hunter. Demand will create when there will be a product working and after that all can be benefits.

Product that providing progress will be good to received rewards in much higher profits if you still holding the coins, stake that has been calculated
if being hold after seeing the progress coming from the team will make you much happier after giving much higher value.

,snip-

You probably are late with trends , this trend was in 2017 , now it is unlikely to appear again , the ico has already died and is unlikely to ever return , now the ieo has captured the market and will keep it in their hands!

I agree at some point. But ICOs are not yet dead. It is nearly dead. I am talking about those ICOs that are still alive and kicking. 1 out of 20 ICOs are still createsd seriously as a potential projects. I may agreed that the price of the altcoins now are hardly pumping up. Since the market's situation is getting worst, but hodling is still our last hope and can wait see the sunshine to appear in the market. Sometimes, holding on is not the answer. Giving up with useless coins will give us to buy another coin.

I think no one can waiting too long to hold their tokens, maybe just for few people can be the "HOLDER".
Every hunters ussually dump their tokens to gets some money.

most new projects have slow market growth. too many have their coins but not many markets know their products. it makes too many sell and not many buy. that is why the market for new projects is very slow to develop. but for the really good, we can see maybe after 1 year the project runs there will be a big update. and that usually makes market prices increase.

It seems to me that it is more profitable to sell tokens from bounty companies.

Right, that was 2017.

Nah, I don't think so, bounty hunters will still dump their coins no matter what the price is. Because they wanted to received their rewards for their hard work. Just look at the current state of most ICO's after the tokens have been listed, dumps after dumps coming from bounty hunters themselves.

Even though I agree with what you say, it seems like the hardest thing for the bounty hunter will be faced. They already get used to selling tokens that have been released on an exchange and even they are willing to get a payment in small amounts. However, maybe that will happen when a whitepaper offered by the project makes an enticing picture that in the future the token can be one of the tokens that will be surrounded by many users. On this basis, it is likely that their mindsets which sell the token when the distribution is done will be changed by themselves and will accept a long term hold offer to get the desired profit.
