You are right, during the first half of the game was when Fiorentina was suppose to score a lot of goals but they couldn't make proper use of their chances, and they were only able to score one goal. Assuming they were able to score more than one goal in this first half they would have won the game, because the first half was dominated by them, and they intimidated Roma.

The second half was in favor of Roma, and they took advantage of it properly which was a great moment for them, after their equalizer goal that was scored at the end of the match before stoppage time. Since Di Rossi took over Roma performance have been superb, which made them to have only lost one match.

There is only 1 match remaining this week, namely the Lazio vs Udinese match. And I think we can bet comfortably on this fight. Because we already know which team we should favorite without having to think long. Because even in head to head we can see that Lazio has never lost in the last 5 meetings against Udinese. Udinese has only been able to hold Lazio to a draw a few times. And the rest is always a win for Lazio. And this season Udinese has been very inconsistent. Sometimes defensive strength do cause a team not to anticipate a potential loss ahead because they will depend so much on their defense that they will doubt any form of penetration which could cause they conceding goals and probably loosing the game and I think such was with the case of fiorentina, they had much faith in their defense that it reduced how well they were feeding their attacks to get goals.

Tho their midfield wasn't a bad one but then Roma had a better attacks that were able to combine creativity with their attacking strength to continually bet the ball inside the post of fiorntina mercilessly till the end of the second half of the game, the first half didn't come with much action and goals as did the second half and that was where the whole interest of the game did dwell as the play and performance were epic and enjoyable to both the fans who were watching and both to none fans who saw the game aswell, I applaud Roma for such a performance.

Roma has continued to build momentum especially in the serie A since after the arrival of their present new coach who replaced Mourinho, Rossi have been able to get around weak and average teams but still finding it very challenging around strong teams and those who in a way equate his kind of strength but I'm trusting that with time he will get a better tactical approach with which he will be able to tackle that.

Roma's overall performance was not bad. Roma players have performed well enough. Roma players tried to dominate the match with 68% ball possession if Roma didn't attack too much. Roma's match strategy and gameplay were quite good. However, Fiorentina was not a weak team. Despite a good performance, the match was drawn 2-2, Roma could not win. Roma could have won against Fiorentina if Roma's defense could have performed a little better.

Even if these two teams lose points in their remaining matches, I don't think the teams behind them in the league standings are good enough to win all their matches. A match with high tension and both teams have shown their best performance so in my opinion the draw is quite fair for both teams despite the equalizing goal from Roma coming at the end of the match but I see that overall the game of both teams is quite balanced so the result of this draw is quite fair.

I admit that De Rossi was really quite successful with Roma, what De Rossi did was not an easy thing and he is able to prove it now even though many people doubted it at the start.
Bologna suffered a defeat and that means that the distance between Bologna and Roma is currently only 3 points, with 10 matches remaining I am quite sure that De Rossi will be able to bring Roma to finish in 4th place in the standings.

The penalty Biraghi missed in the last ten minutes was the turning point of the game for Roma.    Diego Llorente saved one point for his team with a last minute goal. I was expecting it to be a difficult job from the beginning because Fiorentina can really be a challenging opponent like in this example.

Roma could have won the game as well of course considering Fiorentina's bad form these days. But it is still not a very bad result for them for an away game. I assume we would watch a destruction by Roma next time against Sassuolo home.    De Rossi's system started to make me believe in them more.

Both sides attacking, Paulo Dybala didn't score yes but he was electrifying in the game when you see him. Having experience in Seria A has helped him settled into the squad very well.
No much show for Romelu Lukaku and Pellegrini yesterday right now jobs done, they have to focus ahead on the second leg of the game against Brighton in the European Europa League Competition.

That lone man scoring twice for Atalanta deserves a big team, he is super talented and would make them a huge profit if sold for the right amount. Back to back draws for Atalanta.

Roma were a little lucky with the equalizing goal scored by Diego Llorente at the end of the match which made the score even.

Overall Roma's performance was quite impressive in this match, whatever the final result they got, but in my opinion this is a fair result for Roma because it is not easy for them to play at Fiorentina's home ground and Fiorentin is one of the top teams in Serie A. A team , of course it is not easy to play to beat them.

This week, Bologna, who is in 4th place, also suffered a defeat, so Roma have slightly reduced the points gap from Bologna, making the competition for 4th place even more interesting.
