Even with the age and experience factor, I believe that Tyson wins. At the time of the fight, the first knockout that comes will scare Jack and I believe he won't be able to manage it so well with fear.

a prime jake paul fighting against old mike tyson far from his prime kinda sounds absurd, but hopefully mike got his payday.
even though we all know that mike tyson is a true legend but he's already old enough for this sport I think but feel free to prove me wrong.
but it will be an embarassing thing if jake got his ass clapped after all there's no undermining in mike tyson capability of fighting he will definitely still gonna make some serious punch landing on jake face.
even though I know that many are shitting on jake paul as a boxxer aside from the fact that this guy is getting popularity from disney.
but I guess he's good enough boxer at least entertaining enough, im not gonna shit on him, he has good records.

I don't know. Too many fights of this type sound to me as if they could be scripted. The whole idea is to keep the wheel moving and now it is a Live Netflix Boxing Event. I am not too familiar with this type of boxing scene, but I am aware that it's not about titles, but about pay-per-view and how to reach the biggest audience to earn the most money possible.

Does Netflix have exclusive rights or will it also be streamed on other platforms? I have seen some interviews from Paul and I think Tyson too, and the talk was about pay-per-view and how important it is to deliver a show that all the kiddies enjoy and watch the next fight, too.

In this case I guess the deal is to push Netflix subscriptions, similar to how the Inter Miami Messi deal was paid for by Apple as Apple streams Inter Miami games. It's crazy how this dude is going through life earning money nonstop. The Mike Tyson story is now something that probably a lot of people will watch because they think they will revive some of the crazy memories that Tyson is responsible for, but I doubt that it will be that spectacular.
I dont believe on glory anymore and we do know that Boxing is already considered to be a business of course and to those who do able to established and retired themselves as champions or legendary boxers
then they would really be having that kind of opportunity or chance on making money via making having these kind of exhibition fights. Non ethical and pure greed? This is business and you arent forced
to buy that PPV. Whenever these exhibition fights do happen then we've seen that they are really generating millions and this is something that talks about a good business.

Its already that rampant nowadays and if you are someone who do really hates then then better deal and bare with that. These things would continue as long negotiations
would be set up and finalized.Usually legendary and known boxers could really make out such hype.

Tyson is far from his peak. Old 25 year old Tyson who used to do 500 pushups a day, who fought 10 pro fights a year (!) would destroy Jake Paul. That was his peak 1980-90.

This is a very risky fight for Tyson unless they make it appear it is an exhibition match without them trying to hurt each other, but we all know Jake Paul is an opportunist who tries to advance his interest, Tyson is just a shadow of himself, we all going to get old even if we are very disciplined the cells and muscles in our body is going to suffer from wear and tear.
Experts are very concerned about Tyson he is fighting a guy who is very much in good condition and at the peak of his strength, well it seems we can't stop Tyson from the attraction of money.

It's been posted on all social media Tyson still attracts a lot of attention, this is an interesting and exciting fight Tyson is still at the peak of his health even though he is already 60 years old but age is always a factor when it comes to boxing, Tyson may be good in the first two rounds but old age will catch with him and the fresh legs of Jake Paul will take over.

At the peak? You must be joking. Tyson is done, he's too old and his party lifestyle is really catching up to him. There's no way he can beat a guy half his age. Don't get me wrong he still looks good, especially for a guy his age, but IMO it's more of a show than a real strength and agility. Last time he fought was AFAIK vs Jones in 2020 and that's 4 years ago. Mind that Tyson was 56 at the time and now he's 60!

He just beat Ryan Bourland recently who looks like not willing to fight and Jake is up again for another.
They should call this a fight but an exhibition but believe it or not is happening. You think Mike is done after Roy Jones but Jake wants to pull him again for he just needs recognition from the boxing community.

I would be surprised if Mike beats Jake. He is 60.  Would you bet if its on Stake?

Jake Paul is set to fight former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson in a boxing match that will be livestreamed on Netflix.

The bout is scheduled to take place on July 20 at the AT&T Stadium in Texas and will be available to all Netflix subscribers. Additional information, including the co-main event and undercards, will be announced at a later date. It is being produced in a partnership between Netflix and Paul’s and Nakisa Bidarian’s Most Valuable Promotions (MVP).

This will not be the first time Paul and Tyson have appeared on a boxing card together. Paul fought in the co-main event of the pay-per-view that saw Tyson fight an exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr. in 2020, which was Tyson’s first boxing match since 2006. Paul defeated former NBA player Nate Robinson via knockout in the second round in what was Paul’s second professional boxing match.

i think we can already tell that this fight is intended to make a lot of money regardless of whether they will fight to knockout or just an exhibition. Netflix subscription and the pay per view is a big money as this is Mike Tyson. the man is still is teh legend. and then the production of the problem child also will help.

every time Jake Paul box with someone very popular like Anderson Silva, the fight could last more than 5 rounds. so it's not surprising it Mike and Jake fight til the 12th round. its meant to make money and the result will be DRAW.

Obviously the fight will generate a fortune.  It's Netflix's first foray into live fights I believe, and with Mike Tyson as a name draw you know they had to pay him a small fortune.  I'm sure at least an 8 figure number.

I don't like the fight, but Tyson did look good in the training video they just released, so he won't be a free ride even though he'll be 58 years old when the fight takes place.

My take...  Tyson knocks him out in the first 2 minutes, otherwise it will be a long night for Mike.  I think by the third round he'll be out of gas and just trying to stay in the fight.  I am crossing my fingers we see a good old fashioned Mike Tyson fight like I remember as a kid.  30 seconds in I want to see Jake unconscious.  People late to sit down for the fight should miss it.  I remember those days...  One more time Mike...

Yes, as long as we know The Simpsons as something that continues to present controversy in every show that is often considered as a vision of the future, but is it true that we can think of it as a battle between Tyson and Paul?
But if so, then I want to know who the winner in the boxing fight is, to maybe risk a little money on the exhibition fight.

As an exhibition match of course we can't expect and see the fight will be like a fight in general in the boxing ring, I think there will be a lot of drama that might happen in the fight because basically the money that governs who is the winner or winner in the exhibition match including the fight between Tyson and Paul later, I personally have been a fan of Tyson even when he went to jail I still idolized him,  But I no longer have respect for him when he wants to fight Paul just for money that might destroy his reputation as a heavyweight boxing legend all along, honestly from all the possibilities in the fight it looks like Tyson will lose not because he can't beat Paul but because that should be the case at the end of the drama Grin.

Let us put it this way, for sure, a lot of money is also involved in this match. Even if we say, it is an exhibition match. And more then likely, they are earning good here, much higher than most professional boxers. So I can understand if Tyson accepted this challenge. However, he should show Paul the real deal in boxing here. I hope he can easily beat him despite of his age.

Look how cool, Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! from NES 8 BITS!! good times! golden age of video games, I played a lot when I was a kid

They really are very similar, it really seems to be a prediction of the future, from the image you can already see that Tyson was the winner... Great opportunity to place some good bets on Tyson's victory, if the game is correct, it's a sure profit!   Cool

I believe, Tyson is the underdog in this match. Paul is the slight favourite of bookies. So it is good to bet on Tyson, if you think he can pull it off. They maybe considering the youth of Paul here, why they are giving him the slight advantage on this fight. But if Tyson will come prepared, I can say, he can beat Paul easy here.

A Bitcoiner chooses. A slave obeys.
This fight is going to have an obvious outcome. Roll Eyes

Mike is already 57 and Jake Paul is still a young man who pretends like he is a good boxxer. I do not think that putting Jake Paul to fight Mike Tyson is a good idea. Obviously Paul is going to get not only demolished but humbled. Can't wait to see the fight.

Since it is a Netflix event, I hope that this is not just some publicity stunt. Netflix seems to think marketing is more important than content nowadays.   Undecided

I am not around at that time.  But amusing to see it's not just the Simpsons who had seen things coming.

When Jake mauled Ryan Bourland, it was so savage that in 1 round Ryan almost lay face flat. If Jake does that to Mike I think many of his fans will lose respect for him.
But because this is also PPV as I would assume, Jake might make this fight longer up to the 8th round.

I do not find this match that interesting, is Mike Tyson still fit to fight?  With his age and health condition, this looks like a one-sided match and might pose a great danger to the old former Heavyweight champion.  As far as I know, Mike Tyson was reported to suffer an illness last year.  The illness is called sciatica

Tyson suffers from a nerve condition called sciatica, which leads to immense pain in the lower back and legs. The condition got so worse for Tyson that he had to use a wheelchair and stick in order to walk. However, the 57-year-old has been open about his struggles with his nerve condition. He had admitted that when his condition flares up, he finds it difficult to talk.

I think this is just a stunt to earn money, oh well it is not a surprise if we are talking about Jake Paul and his exploits.  But regardless I hope that one punch knock out of Mike Tyson work this time.  I really wanted to see Jake Paul knocked out cold.
it is, I mean fighting Jake Paul especially if it is an exhibition match is an easy money grab, not many people would pass on possibly earning millions of dollars just fighting in an exhibition match. Good for Mike Tyson that he got this opportunity to make money but if he push his body too hard I can already see his sciatica acting up before, during or after the fight. sciatica is very painful to have, sitting, lying down and walking can be torture when you have sciatica.

This match would be awesome but we can well predict the winner If both was at their prime especially mike tyson, I bet he would cracked jakes head with one power punch or we would be expecting so many blow drops form Mike, but unfortunately he is old, weak and febile, not febrile tho he could still beat me up if I was in that ring, i would be running around begging for my live 🤣, but anyway Mike is not what he used to be and I guess this match is just a way to make some money off the legend, I wish he woudl win least he spoils his career history over this match. Jake wins 🏆 👏

I was going to ask this question: there is some place where I can bet this match?
Well, Mike Tyson has done the history of this sport and he was literally from "another planet"
I don't think that age can be an issue for him, but for sure he has not the same "pressure" to achieve a great result Roll Eyes
By the way, I don't like these kind of fights, these are something far away from sport and much more something similar to a tv show.
I think age will play a big role because Mike is not young anymore. But I don’t understand why he needs this now, I doubt that he needs money to agree to this fight, I consider him a Legend and he should not stoop to a fight with an amateur who is only looking for hype. I understand that Mike Tyson is a confident person, but age is merciless to everyone, and 57 years is a lot for a fighter, he has less endurance, and doesn’t have the same punching power, everything is different now.

As expected Mike is the underdog +300 while Jake -360

I have not found any information about how much is Mike going to profit from this fight but this is Netflix so it's got to be available to everyone. This is purely entertainment for him I guess.
