Cleveland Cavaliers (50-32, 29-12 Home) at Indiana Pacers(48-34, 21-20 Away), Game 2, Indiana leads 1-0

Cleveland was fortunate to even have a chance to try and make a run to get the game to single digits in the fourth quarter. The Cavaliers were abysmal shooting the ball and their inability to get anything going from someone other than James for the most part did them in. In the first quarter, Nance Jr. had six points and no one else had more than two. Indiana controlled the tempo from the start and hammered Cleveland into submission. While the Cavaliers will undoubtedly play better in Game 2, the fact remains that the Pacers have had their number this season. Take the points and the Pacers in this one as it’s a tighter contest.

Burnley (7th, 14-10-9, 52 pts) at Chelsea (5th, 18-6-9, 60 pts)

     Chelsea are in a world of trouble in terms of the league at the moment, and it looks like we could be witnessing the final days of Antonio Conte's tenure. With the FA Cup semi-final coming up this weekend, it wouldn't be a major shock to see the Blues concentrate just a little on that. That means that Burnley, who are in the middle of a brilliant run, will have the chance to make another statement of intent in their own challenge for European football.

Los Angeles Kings (51-24-7) at Vegas Golden Knights (45-29-8), Game 4, Vegas leads 3-0.

     All three games in this series have been very tight, and Quick has been more than good for the Kings to win some of these games. A bounce here or a bounce there, and the Kings are in this series. The Vegas Golden Knights are obviously the better team and probably win this series, but the odds are on the side of the Kings winning at least one due to how tight these three games have been. Also, the Kings are a veterean team that's been through it all and already came back down 0-3 against the San Jose Sharks a few years ago. While most teams have their head down in a big series hole, the Kings will still have some sort of confidence. Give me the home team to prevent the sweep.

Minnesota Twins (7-4, 4-2 Home) at Cleveland Indians (8-6, 2-4 Away)

     This game has the potential to be a pitching duel. Neither team has an especially explosive offense and they are both sending out consistent starters. Kluber is on another level compared to most pitcher in the MLB through three starts. He struck out 13 batters his last time out and is yet to pitch under seven innings this year. Kluber is hard to bet against and should guide his team to the win and the AL Central win.

New Jersey Devils (44-29-9) at Tampa Bay Lightning (54-23-5), Game 3, Lightning lead series 2-0

The Atlantic Division meets the Metro Division this evening and we will see the Tampa Bay Lightning grapple with the New Jersey Devils as the scene shifts to the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey for game three of this best-of-seven series. The Lightning now has a 2-0 series lead after winning game two by a score of 5-3. Goalie Probables: Andrei Vasilevskiy will get the nod for the Lightning and he will be opposed by Keith Kinkaid or Cory Schneider.

Philadelphia 76ers (52-30, 30-11 Home) at Miami Heat (44-38, 18-23 Away), Game 2, PHI leads 1-0

   It’s the continuation of an Eastern Conference quarterfinal series in the City of Brotherly Love. The Miami Heat play Game 2 of their best of seven series on the road as they travel to face the Philadelphia 76ers Monday night. Philadelphia rolled to an easy 130-103 blowout win in Game 1 of the series at home on Saturday night. The Heat holds a 60-57 edge in the all-time regular season series: the teams split four meetings this season with the home team prevailing in each contest. In the postseason, Miami won the only previous series, 4-1, in the first round of the 2011 playoffs: they now hold a 4-2 edge in games won.

Pittsburgh Penguins (48-29-4-2) at Philadelphia Flyers (42-27-7-7), Game 2, Series 1-0

     The Pittsburgh Penguins were mediocre for parts of the final three weeks of the season, but this is the postseason and they are going for their 3rd straight Stanley Cup Title. Matt Murray has been awesome in the NHL’s 2nd season in his career as he is now 23-9 with a 1.89 GAA in the postseason after winning game one of this series 7-0. The Flyers played well down the stretch to get into the playoffs, but they showed in game one that they are just overmatched in this series, especially here at PPG PAINTS Arena. Brian Elliott was rocked in game one and he is now 15-23 in the postseason in his career.

Golden State Warriors (58-24, 29-12 Home) at San Antonio Spurs (47-35, 14-27 Away), Game 1

   In this Western Conference Finals rematch from a year ago, the Spurs travel to Golden State, but this time Kawhi Leonard will most likely not play Game 1 unlike last year. The Spurs won four of their final seven games, with wins over Houston, Oklahoma City and Portland in the process. San Antonio somehow made the postseason for a 21 consecutive year, despite nine games played by Leonard. Golden State, meanwhile, will be without Stephen Curry Saturday afternoon, and most likely the rest of the series. The Warriors were blown out by Utah earlier this weekend, and didn’t exactly play inspiring basketball without Curry. Golden State did, however, handle the Thunder in a recent game, but still overall the Warriors ended the season 7-10.

Thursday evening NHL action and a pair of teams from the Metro Division will square off in the first round of the playoffs as the Columbus Blue Jackets pay a visit to the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. to rumble with the Washington Capitals in game one of their best-of-seven series. The Caps took three of the four regular-season meetings between these teams this year. Goalie Probables: Sergei Bobrovsky (37-28, 2.42 GAA) will roam the crease for the Blue Jackets in this one and the Capitals will counter with Philipp Grubauer (15-13, 2.35 GAA).

Boston Red Sox (9-2, 4-1 Home) at New York Yankees (6-6, 3-3 Away)

     The best rivalry in baseball will add another chapter to their book on Thursday with Game 3 of their series in Boston. In Game 2, the two teams fought on two separate occasions which means this game should be out of control. Because the Sox are home and have a red-hot pitcher on the hill, they have to get the nod here. It’s gonna be one awesome game.

Pittsburgh Penguins (47 - 35) at Philadelphia Flyers (42 - 40), Game 1

   Although the very last meeting between the two teams in the postseason ended with a 4-2 series victory for the Flyers six years ago, starting with a 4-3 overtime road victory for Philly, expect the Penguins to kick off the proceedings a tad differently this time around. Seasoned pros when it comes to the playoffs, the Pens have already won seven of their past eight Conference Quarterfinals and have beaten the Flyers in five of the past six meetings in Pittsburgh, sweeping their latest season series as well.

     Winning against Bayern Munich is a hard enough task, but having to do so in Bavaria and needing two goals on top of that is going to make matters even more difficult for this very good and underrated Sevilla team. Complicating matters even further is the fact that Jupp Heynckes has Bayern back to looking like the superpower that it was three of four years ago. That is a scary sight to behold, and they will be moving on to the semis after a second win over the side from Seville.

Utah Jazz (47-33, 27-13 Home) at Golden State Warriors (58-23, 29-11 Away)

   Utah is rolling right now and could be a dangerous out in the West. Golden State is locked into their playoff spot and one would think they want nothing to do with the Jazz and their tenacious defense, especially with Curry missing. The Warriors have merely been pedestrian offensively without the two-time MVP and it’s hard to see them getting a ton going against the Jazz. It actually works in Golden State’s favor to lose this one as it would pretty much prevent them from facing Utah in the opening round. With the roll the Jazz are on, give the points and take them at home here.

     After scoring four goals in a match in which many believe they did not even get close to their full potential, Barcelona are massive favorites to not only go through but also to win this second leg. Roma have a habit of losing to better teams down the years, and they have typically done so by quite a lot. That rang true in the first leg, and it could end up being the case as the overall tie is not likely to look all that pretty at the end of it.

     If City were angry at the beginning of the second half on Wednesday, and it showed that they were, you better believe that they will show anger straight from the first kick here. They will come out quick, looking to get right at Liverpool, and their fans will look to apply similar pressure level that the Reds fans did less than a week ago. With that said, Liverpool only need one goal to force City to score five, so even if they lose this leg, they should be going through.

St. Louis Cardinals (4-5, 1-2 Home) at Milwaukee Brewers (5-5, 3-0 Away)

     The Milwaukee Brewers and St. Louis Cardinals will face off this Monday to kick off a three game series in St. Louis. The Brewers come into this series after dropping three of four to the Cubs. They were shut out in two of those games. The Cardinals dropped two of three to the Diamondbacks. This will already be the second series between these two teams this year. The Cardinals won three of four the first time around.
