Personally I wish the block statistics was based on the current time, not the last block time.
For example, right now, it says we got 5 blocks in 6.7 hrs which looks great and is nice shiny green. But it hides the fact we haven't really had a block for 14 hrs and it has been over 20 hrs since that 5th block was mined.

Meh. An unhealthy obsession with short-term statistics is a frustrating game. Are you going to pool hop based on 1 or 5 day luck?
Was great when we were up 108% or so long-term, for sure, but I've not seen evidence of a change in policy/practice/management that makes me think that something is fundamentally different and now wrong with the pool.

I don't believe there is anything there is indicate an unhealthy obsession with short term statistics or pool hopping. I simply made a comment that I felt that the current displayed statistics could be improved if they were based on the current time rather than the time the last block was found. You are certainly free to express your own opinion.

Yup...that's the one I found...although I haven't seen any direct posts from Canaan. I think it's funny that I've avoided Twitter for years...but signed up yesterday just to follow that channel. A bit of exciting.

Haha! I went back outside to continue grinding stumps and Jays86 hits the next block! I'm not sure if I have the stamina to keep this up but I'm willing to take one for the team! I guess that would be our 4th block of the day...I'm going back outside once more!

Coffee...coffee...as I wake up and read the "OMG what's wrong?" after a few hours with no blocks, which seems to always happen, I also see an incoming wallet transaction, which means we found a block...or that Sonny went out for chicken fritters for breakfast...or maybe both. Ta-da...

I'm not complaining, this is my favorite pool. Very steady and stable and my miners like it best.

It seems that every time I go out of the house tonight we hit multiple blocks! Maybe I'll have to remember that the next time we need a block!
